The property

Just over one mile from the enchanting beach resort of Falmouth, Willow nestles in a tranquil countryside setting within a courtyard cluster of stylish barn conversions.

Adjacent to the town's prestigious coastal golf course, this holiday homestay is perfect for family, friends and couples seeking a fusion of recreation and relaxation, with attractions for everyone nearby.

The beach at Swanpool is a 10 minute stroll away, so take buckets, spades and swimwear.

A little further are the beaches at Maenporth and Gyllyngvase, with the Blue Flag award.

Situated on the coastal footpath, scenic walks begin from the doorstep and guests have private access onto the golf course, making this venue ideal for ramblers and golfers.

Falmouth's cobbled streets are home to shops and galleries, the National Maritime Museum and traditional inns.

Sample fresh, local produce at one of the superb eateries, many with harbourside views; the fish and chips at Rick Stein's seafood restaurant are excellent!

For an active break, it's a fabulous centre for water sports and fishing excursions, or board a pleasure boat to the cathedral city of Truro or waterside St Mawes with its 15th century castle.

A short drive to the east is the Helford River and the beautiful sub-tropical gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan, a nature lover's paradise.

Discover the tiny coves, fishing villages and stunning beaches on the Lizard Peninsula - Kynance Cove with its cliffs, white sands and turquoise ocean is captivating!

Iconic St Ives on the far west coast is a favored hot-spot with beaches, pretty quay, boutiques, ice-cream parlours and Tate St Ives.

Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbour-side pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes). For nature lovers there is the Swanpool Nature Reserve, a lagoon and site of special scientific interest teeming with a variety of wildlife. There is also a golf course. Falmouth offers such a rich variety of landscape and attractions for people of all ages, it is sure to tempt you back time and again.
