“A very well presented, equipped and managed property - probably the best we have ever stayed in!”

'Top-notch' in all respects in terms of all round comfort; nice welcome pack too with the owners 'on-hand' next door. Great wifii and TV for rainy days and easy parking. 'Just right' location for exploring the far South of Cornwall. We had a great holiday based here and is thoroughly recommended.

“Wow! What an amazing holiday property!”

Spotlessly clean, beautifully presented and equipped to the highest specification. The owners Pam and Colin really have thought of everything. The welcome pack was much appreciated, as was the meet and greet which made us feel welcome. Ideal location, within an easy drive of Porthleven, Minack Theatre, St Ives, Penzance, Falmouth, etc. For amazing food we highly recommend The Shire Inn (amazing carvery). Thank you so much, despite the weather, we had an amazing, comfortable stay.

“This is a most exceptional property to very high spec, with friendly and helpful owners that live nearby.”

It’s location enables you to visit all the southern areas of Cornwall within a short time, such as Falmouth, st Ives, lands end, & Truro, to name just a few. Or you have the many smaller rural villages with pubs and eateries not many miles away. It’s central location is ideal for those cyclists, hikers or ramblers that like a challenge, with the rugged coastline not far away, and the up and down hills along quiet country lanes is great for those who would like a challenge! Beautiful sunsets and peaceful quiet nights without a sound to disturb you. 10 out of 10! Definitely worth the money. Highly recommended.

“The best cottage we have stayed in and we have been visiting Cornwall for over forty years.”

It was well equipped and immaculately clean. The cottage is in a great central location for getting to places. Pam and Colin are lovely hosts and were very welcoming. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend Cornish Views and hope to return again.

“Pam and Colin made us feel very welcome - knocked to say hello the morning after we arrived and let us know they were there if we needed anything.”

Had a lovely welcoming pack - Easter eggs, fruit, cream teas, wine, milk. The interior of the cottage was so comfortable with incredible attention to detail - so much thought has been put into it. Everything you could need for a very enjoyable stay! Would highly recommend!

“We stayed from the 24th of march for 4 days.”

The owners have thought of pretty much everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The property is lovely and cosy, especially when the weather is horrble outside. It is finished to a very high standard and the location is pretty much bang in the middle of north and southcoast . One feedback would be the velux sky lights in the twin might need some blinds in the middle of summer as the room does get lovely and light very early. We liked it so much we have now booked 7 nights in August.

“Cornish Views is a very comfortable, clean and well maintained property.”

The owners (Colin and Pam) made us very welcome and the provision of milk, fruit and a Cornish Cream Tea on arrival was much appreciated! This was one of the most comfortable cottages we have stayed in. We cannot think of anything that would have made our holiday more enjoyable and wish we could have stayed longer.

“This is a wonderfully comfortable property, everything is of very good quality and in perfect condition, from the furnishings and fittings to the utensils.”

The showers are fantastic, the en-suite bathroom is very spacious and the beds were excellent. It was a pleasure to spend a few days here, we felt very private and were completely undisturbed apart from a brief visit from the owners on the first evening to check that all was well. This was very welcome as it gave us the opportunity to thank them for the delicious cream tea, fruit and wine that greeted our arrival.

Not being from the area we had a list of places to visit as a manual from the owners. The people of Cornwall were truly amazing and polite and welcoming out in the town. We definitely would like to come back in the summer and stay here again!

Cornish Views is a contemporary barn conversion settled in the hamlet of Black Rock, near Praze-An-Beeble and Camborne, Cornwall.

Enjoying an elevated position with surrounding countryside views, along with a sizeable private garden, Cornish Views is a wonderful escape for families, friends and couples looking to explore the beauty of Cornwall.

Step inside and you’ll find an inviting atmosphere, complete with contemporary amenities, perfect for a truly memorable stay.

The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with all the mod cons for a self-catering stay, whilst the dining area is the perfect place to enjoy mealtimes together.

Afterwards, put your feet up in the sitting room and browse the Smart TV for your favourite Netflix series.

From the living area, access the secure terrace garden complete with furniture set, sure to be used on those balmy summer evenings.

As you look it call it a day, the ground floor offers a spacious twin bedroom and en-suite shower room, whilst upstairs features a calming double bedroom, complete with an adjacent shower room for those early morning pick-me-ups.

The nearby village of Praze-An-Beeble offers your closest amenities, including a convenience store and a pub, St Aubyn Arms, where you can sample a traditional British menu and choice of ales.

The town of Camborne is four miles away, easily accessible by car or train, best known as centre for the former Cornish tin and copper mining industry, as well as being the birthplace of the inventor of the steam locomotive engine, Richard Trevithick.

Slightly further along lies Helston, the gateway to the Lizard Peninsula; this town is best known for the annual Furry Dance, also known locally as the Flora Dance, along with attractions such as Flambards Theme Park for the thrill seekers, whilst Gweek is home to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, offering an educational day for children as they learn about the rescue and care of seals.

Eight miles away lies the picturesque town of Hayle, home to the three-mile-long sandy beach, Hayle Towans, a haven for beachcombers, surfers and those looking to simply relax, with views of Godrevy Lighthouse in the distance.

Further afield lies the jewel of the North Cornwall coast, St Ives, renowned for its exceptional beauty, artistic heritage, and vibrant cultural scene; visit the picturesque harbour, wind the narrow streets lined with boutique stores and quirky cafes and browse a range of art galleries, including the famous Tate St Ives and The Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden.

About the location

CAMBORNE

Portreath 4.4 miles; Hayle 6.8 miles.

This delightful village is set on the River Beeble and is in a fantastic position for exploring the nearby coastal towns and villages. The village has a pub, shop, Post Office and popular fish and chip shop which makes this an ideal base. Nearby is St Ives harbour which has its own small fishing fleet and there are plentiful boat trips skippered by locals keen to showcase the best that Cornwall has to offer, whether it be seal watching at Seal Island, a couple of hours' mackerel fishing or a relaxing trip to Godrevy Lighthouse. Hayle is just over six miles away and has plenty of activities out of the water too; Paradise Park is a wildlife park, home to some spectacular parrots, otters and red pandas. Hayle has a range of shops, restaurants and bars scattered around the estuary and harbour area. The jewel of Hayle is the three miles of golden sandy beach, with fantastic surfing at Gwithian where there is a surf shop, lessons and hire of equipment. Within easy reach of Praze-an-Beeble is the Minack Theatre, Falmouth Marine Museum, Eden Project, St. Michael’s Mount and many other fantastic tourist attractions for dry or wet days.
