“Lovely little place, for me personally felt a little claustrophobic, lacking in ventilation and natural light.”

Security light outside front bedroom with only window in was regularly going on early hrs off the morning and was quite bright, had to put a blanket up over the curtains to block it out. Fair bit of noise from above where running across flooring, flushing off toilet early and late hrs (myself would not flush after 10pm out of consideration), could also actually hear people going toilet, some lovely nearby walks though and friendly residents/holidayers, once across busy stretch across the road it ...

Fair bit of noise from above where running across flooring, flushing off toilet early and late hrs (myself would not flush after 10pm out of consideration), could also actually hear people going toilet, some lovely nearby walks though and friendly residents/holidayers, once across busy stretch across the road it was a short walk down to penzance promenade and town, more practical for someone who drives to be able to go to the shops etc. Was still a welcome break. Thank you.

Step inside the bright and spacious living area after parking in the off-road parking space.

Both double bedrooms have plenty of storage, one of which is zip/link to accommodate two friends or the little ones.

There are plenty of convenience stores and eateries nearby, with the centre of Penzance only a short journey away, with many of activities in offer; stroll along the lovely harbour with an ice cream in hand or visit the latest exhibition at Penlee House Gallery & Museum.

From here, keen walkers can join the South West Path, which winds all the way to Land's End and offers scenic bays to rest in.

About the location

PENZANCE

St Ives 8 miles. Helicopter to Isles of Scilly - 30 minutes

Penzance hosts Golowan, the Midsummer Carnival, and The Literary Festival. There are also The Exchange, Newlyn and Penlee Art Galleries. One of Cornwall’s most popular holiday areas is the spectacular sweep of Mount’s Bay, from the cliffside fishing village of Mousehole through Penzance and around to beautiful Marazion, the coastline hides a wealth of sandy beaches, rocky coves as well as winding village streets and other places to visit and explore. Connected by a causeway to the shore at Marazion is the National Trust’s stunningly beautiful St Michael’s Mount with its hilltop castle and Mediterranean gardens. Walk across at low water and take one of the ferry boats back when the tide is up. Penzance with its winding streets, shops, clubs, restaurants and harbour is a must as it is the jumping-off point for day trips to the Isles of Scilly as well as being the harbor. The South West Coast Path passing through Penzance winds its way along the clifftops towards Land’s End. On the way, stop off for a coffee and a rest at beautiful Lamorna Cove, explore the open air Minack Theatre and marvel at the cliffs as you approach Gwennap Head. A stunning walk for those seeking solitude, exercise and some of the UK’s best coastal scenery. Penzance is the perfect holiday base. Ideally placed for exploring this land of Celtic myth and legend and with enough to do and see in the immediate area to keep all the family occupied.
