The property

This beautifully furnished oak cottage is situated amongst a small cluster of similar properties in the beautiful countryside at Inny Vale, just outside the village of Davidstow and 4 miles from the historic market town of Camelford.

You enter the lodge into the beautifully furnished light and airy open-plan living room with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable dining area and large sofas to totally relax after a day spent on the beach or touring the spectacular coastline.

Also on the ground floor is a wet room and a twin bedroom, the other two bedrooms, a king-size double and another twin along with the family bathroom are on the first floor.

Outside is a pretty lawned garden overlooking the River Inny with a decked area with furniture and a barbecue for alfresco dining which will appeal on the balmy summer evenings.

Perfectly located for touring the stunning North coast of Cornwall, the magical villages of Tintagel and Boscastle and the rugged moorland, this cottage provide fantastic accommodation.

Golfers have the choice of two friendly courses, both within easy access, a tennis court is available on-site and walkers are spoilt for choice.

Some of the finest moorland and coastal walking in the county are both accessed within a short drive from here; Roughtor is a fairly easy climb and being one of the highest points in Cornwall, a clear day rewards you with stunning views of both North and South coasts.

The coastal walk between Boscastle and Tintagel, whilst not easy, is widely considered as one of the finest stretches of the entire South West Coast Path.

With a choice of so many beaches and varied and interesting villages to visit, this cottage offers comfortable accommodation at any time of the year.

About the location

BOSCASTLE

Tintagel 4 miles; Camelford 6 miles.

A perfect Cornish coastal village, the road through Boscastle runs down to the small harbour at the bottom of the hill. The quaint village shops, local restaurants and pubs offering good food, Cornish real ales and live entertainment by local musicians, make this an ever popular visitor destination. Spectacular cliff tops, rocky coves, wild surf, open fields and rich wildlife characterise this beautiful area. The coastal footpath passes through some of Britain’s most rugged and spectacular coastal scenery. The sandy beaches of Bossiney, Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven are all within 5 miles and the surfing beaches at Bude and Polzeath are within easy driving distance. Close at hand lie the delights of Tintagel, swathed in the legends of King Arthur, several stately homes and renowned gardens, or the wide open space of Bodmin Moor, famous for its granite tors and Daphne Du Maurier’s Jamaica Inn.
