“Apple Tree Cottage was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean - the perfect hideaway from the world, which was just what we were looking for.”

The hot tub was private and added a touch of luxury. The garden was lovely, the apple tree beautiful. The bed was enormous and so comfy, the bedding and soft furnishings were excellent quality. The kitchen was the perfect cosy cottage kitchen, with the range and the round table. All the fixtures and fittings were high quality. The kitchen was the perfect cosy cottage kitchen, with the range and the round table. All the fixtures and fittings were high quality. The village of Gweek is lovely, and the local shop is a real hub and has everything you could need, with friendly staff. Our top local visits were Mullion Cove, a circular walk from gorgeous Helford to Dennis Head and Frenchman’s Creek, St Michael’s Mount and Minack Theatre. And we absolutely recommend the pasties and sausage rolls from nearby Gear Farm - best ever!! We loved every minute of our autumn break in the rugged Cornish countryside of the Lizard Peninsula and hope to be back one day. Thank you to the owners of Apple Tree Cottage for a wonderful stay.
