    “Really charming and comfortable holiday home with a very welcoming atmosphere.”

    Relaxing and spacious. Easy to light and gloriously cosy log burner. Quiet and peaceful, away from from the business of Mawgan Porth itself. We had a wonderful time and hope to return.

Enter your new home-from-home where you can unwind on the plush sofas in the sitting room in front of the Smart TV before stepping into the fully-equipped kitchen where you can rustle up tasty meals for the whole family.

Dine as a group at the spacious dining table before savouring the last of the evening’s light on the patio with a glass of your favourite tipple in hand.

When the evening draws to a close head inside to wash off the day’s adventures with a hot soak before sloping off to sleep in one of four bedrooms; two king-sizes with en-suite shower rooms or a twin and bunk room on the ground floor.

If you can tear yourself away from this fantastic holiday home, venture into the heart of Mawgan Porth where you can stock up on all of your self-catering essentials at the carefully curated village shop, enjoy a delicious coffee and pastry at Muddle & Press or enjoy a well-earned break from the kitchen with a meal out at the Merrymoor Inn or Catch Seafood Bar and Grill, both of which overlook the beach.

During high season, there are also a selection of pop-up eateries outside the shops serving delicious pizzas, tacos and wraps as well as beers on tap, you can also find a good Fish and Chip shop next to the Merrymoor Inn.

As well as spending time on the sandy shores of Mawgan Porth Beach provide breath-taking views across the sea, surf lessons are to be had by the friendly bunch at King Surf.

You could walk left up the cliffs and enjoy the views as you walk to the renowned Watergate Bay in under and hour and enjoy some of the eating options at The Watergate Bay Hotel, or, the cliffs to the right of Mawgan Porth beach provide a route to the Bedruthan Steps with a lovely National Trust Coffee shop to refresh yourself.

Slight further afield is Alternatively, head into Newquay, a buzzing town centre where surfers flock to its shores.

St. Eval Go Kart circuit is a 10 minute drive away.

Nestled between Newquay and Padstow on the beautiful north Cornish coast, Mawgan Porth is a sheltered cove with golden sandy beach, great surf and plenty of caves and coastal footpath to explore. With little distraction from its golden sands, life here revolves around the beach. Laze in the summer sun, learn to ride the waves, or watch over stormy seas on a refreshing cliff top stroll. Mawgan Porth is also home to the fabulous adults-only Scarlet Hotel, which offers Spa treatments and facilities to non-residents - and nearby there is a wealth of fine dining restaurants such as Paul Ainsworth's No 6 and Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant. Mawgan Porth has a handful of shops, including a village store and deli, and a farm shop selling locally sourced meat, eggs, vegetables, bread and pasties, as well as tennis courts, a pitch and putt, and an 18-hole golf course overlooking the Atlantic.
