“Atlantic View was a lovely place to stay.”

The property was an excellent base for our family to be together.We had come to Cornwall for a family wedding which meant we didn’t spend a lot of time at the house but if you wanted to relax it was great to do just that. The house was immaculate with super modern facilities and had a lovely ambiance to it. Thank you Charlotte.

“House was very nice, a little tired in places.”

Nice views and spacious. Facilities were poor, limited plates, mugs etc. only just enough for 6. Also not great quality basics, which we are not used to!! Not any basics like a dish cloth! Only two dishwasher tablets, two tea bags and a small milk. Not very welcoming. We are used to having a hamper on arrival, cream tea, bottle of wine, bacon and eggs etc, so this was disappointing on arrival. Why on earth would you contact us to see if we had 5 hand towels and 2 bottom sheets! Very poor form from the owner and for you to contact us about it. Embarrassing!!

“Gorgeous property with beautiful views across the Atlantic Ocean.”

We were a party of 5 adults (including 2 elderly people, one of which has severe mobility issues) and the property was perfect, no stairs and easily accessible. The house was very well equipped and extremely clean. The only issue we experienced was a lack of hot water on day one but that was because we were all using the showers at the same time so this was easily sorted. Paul and Charlotte were fabulous, happy to resolve any issues immediately and even took the time to introduce themselves and chat with us. Lovely people and a beautiful property. We loved our time in Cornwall and would happily visit again in the future.

“This is our 2nd visit to this lovely house, we were there in 2021.”

For our trip 2 weeks ago we were booked into another house and when we got there it was a bit disappointing and cramped, luckily we managed to get 4 days here amd enjoyed every min This house has such a calm, serene air. Love to sit outside with a coffee watching the sea. Love it so muxh we have booked for March to bring friends down for a surprise Book this house you won't be disappointed.

“I stayed at Atlantic View with my family of 7.”

From entering the property, we were instantly overjoyed. It was everything described and more. Very clean, very spacious, but most importantly, it was homely and comforting - a home away from home. The home was stocked with anything you could possibly need - from dishwasher tablets to an electric drying rack. It was also close to all the excursions and landmarks that we wished to see! I hope to visit again in the future!!

“This is a truly wonderful property which suited our multigenerational party (age range 75 - 5 months) admirably.”

In fact I think the stunning photos don’t do the property justice. The minute you walk through the front door you’re met with a hallway complete with atrium which floods the area to give it a very light and airy feel with views of the sea beyond. The main bedroom is an ideal set up for grandparents who may like their own space. Everything is catered for even down to a bucket & spade! Thank you Charlotte & Paul for accommodating us. We can’t wait to return.

“We have just returned from a wonderful week at Atlantic View.”

This was our first family holiday with our children and grandchildren and i don’t think it could have been any better. The house was perfect for us and even more impressive than described. Every room was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean with lovely homely touches everywhere and everything you could possible need, want or think of to make a holiday extra special. From the moment we arrived Charlotte, Paul and Sue went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was perfect. Even when an unexpected issue arose in the week that they could never have predicted, they were on hand immediately and did everything in their power to rectify it so swiftly. Thankyou so much to you all, we definitely hope to return.

“Beautiful property, lovely and clean and the kitchen was well equipped.”

The beds were comfortable with plenty of storage space in the rooms. On arrival there was a starter pack of tea, coffee and milk and a nice gesture for the dog with biscuits and bowls. The decked area outside was huge with plenty of room to sit and take in the view. Charlotte was lovely, popped in to see if everything was OK and helped with questions that we had about the local area. Would recommend this property.

“Superb! A return visit to Atlantic View for myself and family.”

We were just as impressed as the first time we visited. The accommodation is first class, the attention to detail for your comfort during your stay and the added little treats for us and the dog were very much appreciated . Atlantic View is set in the most beautiful part of Cornwall and is in easy reach of Marazion, Falmouth and Porth Levan, but even if you are just wanting to relax you can still admire the fantastic views over Praa Sands from the comfort of Atlantic View. “Atlantic View exceeded expectations in all areas.”

It looks impressive on the computer screen and does not disappoint. We hired this to enable our entire small family to be together for a long weekend. The cleanliness and quality of fixtures & fittings throughout are exceptional. We planned our self-catering meals with a different family member responsible for each main meal. Some of us packed a few of our favourite cooking pots and utensils. We needn't have bothered as everything is provided. We also appreciated the little touches and attention to detail in this property, We had booked one dog in our party but he did not come in the end and stayed with someone else. However, the owners had gone to the trouble of providing water bowls and dog treats. Thank you to Sykes for this listing and to the owners for providing a wow experience for all of us.

“We booked this property as a last minute get away and all I can say is wow what a find!”

It was absolutely perfect for our party of seven, 5 adults, 2 older children and our dog. It was spacious and spotlessly clean and literally had everything you could ever need, plus more! Loved the ice machine. There was nothing we didn’t enjoy or dislike about the place. Lovely walk down to the beach and nice pub down the road where we had a nice meal one evening. We cooked the rest of our stay and the kitchen was very well equipped. House is in a great location for a base for travelling around Cornwall sightseeing. The children have already asked when can we come back. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

“What a fantastic house this is.”

Everything is absolutely perfect, and has obviously been really well thought out as nothing is lacking. Spotlessly clean with really comfortable beds ad plenty of space which is great when you've got a multi-generational group. The owners are close by which is great, as you know they're there if needed, but to be honest, we didn't need to bother them at all as there are very clear instructions for everything. Great proximity to a beautiful beach was the icing on the cake for us.I can't praise it enough, and we will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed our family holiday with the dog. Would be good if the garden could be secure to allow pet to roam free on the grass area however we coped using a long dog tie fixed into grass. We loved the ice making machine!

“This is - quite rightly - a 5 star property.”

It is very new, very modern and perfectly presented. The views to the sea are lovely and there is plenty of space for the children to safely play. It is 5 mins drive from Praa Sands. Every modern convenience is available - including Sky Q in almost every room. To be critical I would mention that the property is on the main Penzance to Helston road and therefore a little noisy - and a microwave in the kitchen would have been useful. I would most definitely recommend this property.

“We have stayed in many holiday homes in various locations and this is by far the nicest.”

Congratulations to the owners for creating and maintaining such a stunning property and to Sue for keeping such high standards with regard to cleanliness and finishing touches. The house is furnished to an excellent standard the furnishings, decor, beds towels etc are comfortable and of the highest quality; ideally located we particularly enjoyed visiting Porthleven, Marazion and Praa Sands. The only negative for us was that whilst the property is dog friendly the outside area is not enclosed; this was a bit of an issue when we first arrived as I had phoned Sykes to confirm. That said the owners Charlotte and Paul immediately worked with us to ensure a safe area on one of the patios and they purchased a ground stake and long line so we could let our boy out at the front; this worked fine and did not impact on the holiday. We understand this is something that is going to be addressed in the future. Thanks again for letting us stay in your beautiful house and making a special birthday even more special we cannot rate this property high enough, we will definitely be back!

“We had a lovely stay at Atlantic view, and wouldn't hesitate to stay again, the house is absolutely beautiful, comfy beds and the showers are INCREDIBLE!”

! Views from the bedrooms and living area are beautiful on a clear day. The toiletries left where a nice touch, and the hairdryers work well. Minor things would have made our stay perfect, we booked for a week, family of 5, with only one toilet roll in each bathroom, and no spare, left with only 2 dishwasher tablets for a week stay, 2 tea towels for a weeks stay, and no bin bags or kitchen roll, no logs for the log burner (we did leave one of the bags plus kindling when we left) , small things but having to buy household items when paying to stay somewhere isn't what we are used to, this is the first place we have had to provide that kind of thing. These aren't major issues, just not something we have had experienced before. One thing worth noting is the oven and the ice machine could do with some instructions, we worked it out but visitors who don't have these things would definitely benefit from having a manual. The house is very clean and the kitchen is very well stocked for all your cooking needs. The layout of the house is fantastic. We would definitely book to come again, hopefully with better weather

As this is a self catering property we leave enough to get you started, milk, tea, coffee sugar etc and loo rolls in each loo which is enough to get your through till you go to one of the local supermarkets. There were two spare bin bags on the windowsill and also a fresh one was left in the bin. I apologise if you did not see them. I will take into consideration your comment regarding the manuals - however in the welcome letter it does say what to do with the ice machine! “Had a fabulous stay at Atlantic view, the property was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need to have a fabulous time holidaying.”

The property was well equipped with all kitchen utensils you could ever need and plenty of crockery and appliances if you need to stay in on those rainy days. Bedrooms and on suites were very well equipped with lovely fresh towels bedding and complimentary toiletries ( very nice little touch ) The outside garden and courtyard were well maintained and our pooch Watson loved the garden. Great outside seating furniture as well and lovely sea views. This place is the ideal staycation for a relaxing time away exploring Cornwall or if you just want to relax in the surrounding of a fabulous place. “A fantastic property to enjoy a family holiday.”

Lots of space and every home comfort and more. Comfortable beds, amazing power showers, soft towels, crisp bedding and most importantly the house is spotlessly clean. Excellent location with beautiful views of Praa, plenty of parking for three cars and a fabulous outside space to sit, relax and soak up the sun. We had a fabulous week and undoubtedly the best accommodation we have stayed in during our many visits to Cornwall over the last 20 years.

For future reference, whilst the property can accommodate two cars it’s not really enough when 8 adults get together. fortunately there is enough space on and off site to accommodate three, or even four small cars at a pinch.

“The house was absolutely pristine!”

Lots of nice touches like scones, jam and cream on arrival, fresh coffee, Christmas tree, a present for granddaughter and our dog! Beds super comfortable with quality bedding, although a king size would have been better in huge master suite. Good walks across golf course opposite, to the beach. Only negative is the garden in not enclosed and our dog could get out onto busy road, so had to accompany him for his toilet breaks! Met owner Paul, super friendly and helpful and Sue who came in for a changeover on our second week, what an amazing cleaner! She made everything look straight out of a magazine shoot! Thank you everyone for great stay over Christmas.

“Atlantic View is absolutely perfect!”

Great location with a gorgeous view of the sea. The accommodation is decorated to a high standard, clean, spacious and had everything included (egs: dishwasher tablets and ground coffee with filters for the coffee machine) that we had to provide for ourselves in other holiday rentals we have stayed in. The Neff ovens were a pleasure to cook in! The TV’s were great with the one in the main bedroom and the large one in the lounge including Sky & Netflix. Having a spacious en-suite in nearly all of the bedrooms was a huge plus and the beds were lovely and cosy! The owners, who live near by, provided a lovely welcome package which included scones, jam & cream, milk, eggs and bread which was a great touch. My advice is stay here, you won’t regret it!!

“Only one niggle.”

The fourth bedroom is not fit for purpose as it is too small for a double bed. No wardroom or chest of drawers. These were located in the passageway. The property, in our opinion, should have been listed for six persons not eight.

Sykes advertise this property for 8 people and the bedroom in question has a double bed, a wall mounted 49" television with a nice large window clearly shown in the photos on the website. “We wanted a family gathering which involved 8 adult people staying plus room to have another 4 joining for a family dinner.”

The facilities and the space available suited us perfectly. For reference, the table provided was extendable ( not obvious from the photos) but chairs were limited. We anticipated this and brought extras. The owner lives nearby and is very friendly and accommodating. Parking and manoeuvrability is limited on site (2 cars, maybe stretching to three) but again, the owner might be able to suggest solutions. In every respect, perfect for our needs.

“The home is beautiful and very spacious.”

A very good getaway for new years celebrations and a lovely view over the ocean and a fireworks display. There is plenty of cookware provided, enough to cook a Christmas roast for 8. Only 'bad' thing we encountered was the boiler turned off when everyone took a shower, but came back on in 5 minutes. I would highly recommend this place to anyone considering.

It is an eco ground source heat pump boiler so has a large tank that continuously fills but yes if everyone uses it at once can be a bit tricky but as you said it comes straight back! price we pay to help the environment! do hope you will consider revisiting us. Property Owner

“This is without a doubt the nicest house we have ever rented.”

It's finished to a very high spec and they have not scrimped on anything. The beds are so comfy and there's every imaginable gadget you could need for your stay. We were there in Nov and the weather was so mild that we even managed to sit out I'm the South facing garden with fantastic sea view. The owners Paul and Charlotte are lovely and have great advice on where to eat etc. Close enough for any assistance you may need but not intrusive. We can't recommend this house highly enough amd will definitely be back next year.

“We had a wonderful stay, both the location and property were excellent.”

Paul and Charlotte were on hand at the property to help out if needed and were really welcoming. The only -ve comment I could come up with if pushed, which prevented me rating 10/10 may not affect every one. We filled the property with a party of 8 adults, but there was only enough seating for 6 to sit comfortably in the evenings. I'm sure, if asked, Paul and Charlotte may have addressed this for us, but I didn't ask as were were out some nights so only really affected us for a few.

The standard of accommodation is excellent; modern, clean and spacious. The friendly owners were on hand to welcome us into the property and to explain how the various modern appliances worked. The welcome hamper was much appreciated after our long journey to this part of Cornwall. The house is ideally placed to access coastal walks, restaurants, pubs and excellent beaches. “We had a great week at Atlantic view this September.”

It was our first group family holiday together since lockdown and at it did not disappoint. The house was spotless and had everything you needed for a brilliant homely stay to explore beautiful Cornwall. The host was lovely, on hand to give info on the house appliances and also recommendations for dining or beaches. A particular highlight was the thoughtful welcome hamper with lots of Cornish delights to start the holiday. The sea views from the property were gorgeous, with Praa sands beach within five minutes drive and a great location to all amenities you could need. We would happily recommend Atlantic view to friends and will look forward to coming back next year.

“Absolutely fabulous!”

Clean, contemporary, spacious & easily accessible. The owners are nearby if you need them but otherwise invisible. The villa boasts an incredible view of the ocean & is very quiet at night. There’s a 30mph main road hidden by a wall at the end of the front garden, so hardly any noise & it means you don’t have to dice with death on narrow lanes every time you want to go out. Turn right out the drive to get to Penzance & St Michael’s Mount in 15 minutes, or turn left to visit picturesque Porthleven in ten minutes. There’s an excellent information pack & we arrived to find milk, eggs, bread and even scones, jam and clotted cream provided by Charlotte, which was much appreciated. There’s a fairly large CoOp supermarket in the next village as well as a delightful store on the road down to Praa Sands. Super comfy beds and Sky Q as well. Did I mention the insulation, which translates into a lovely & warm interior space?! All in all, you get a lot of bang for your buck at Atlantic View & will be well looked after by Paul and Charlotte. We’ll be back!

“No recycling availability which seemed out of tune with modern life.”

The house was lovely but it would have been better for us if two of the bedrooms had had twin beds…we had 4 teens staying with us and they struggled with double beds. The views and parking etc were great and we enjoyed the luxury of en suite facilities…we could all have showers straight after the beach which was great. The owner was helpful especially with explaining the hi tech ovens and providing us with colanders …we are cooks! We love West Penwith and this was our first sortie towards the Helton area…we will be back I’m sure.

We were greeted with a welcome pack left in the kitchen with all the basic essentials plus scones, jam, and cream. The accommodation is high end in specification, spacious and well laid out. The location is perfect for getting out and about and doing the local coastal walks, you can also get the bus back to the property as it stops just down the road .The owners are friendly and helpful and nearby if you need them and make the stay an absolute pleasure. The hosts were great - a lovely welcome pack with all sorts of useful information in. The house was spotless and had everything we needed and more - kitchen extremely well equipped and the ice machine was very useful for our stay lol! Beds comfortable, bathrooms lovely - the house is basically brand new. Every detail has been thought of including snuggle blankets for the sofas which we loved! TVs in every room which were hardly switched on. Location excellent with a 15-20 min walk to the beach and gorgeous beaches all along that coast. Hosts were friendly and helpful. View from the house looking out to the sea was superb and the patio had lots of use.

The property

This stunning, contemporary, newly built property rests in the quiet village of Germoe, on the coast near Praa Sands in Cornwall.

Boasting coastal and countryside views, as well as being less than a mile from the closest beach, Atlantic View offers stylish and spacious accommodation for a group of eight family and friends to enjoy the delights of Cornwall's south coast, while also being within easy reach of Penzance, Marazion and Helston.

Enter the property into the bright and spacious open-plan living room, with a high gloss-effect kitchen, complete with Neff oven, 5-ring gas hob, dishwasher and a range of other appliances and conveniences to enable you to prepare delicious meals for the group.

There is a small breakfast bar in the kitchen, where you can enjoy a quick snack, or head over to the large dining table, with a choice of bench or chair seating, to eat together as a group and make plans for the remainder of your stay.

The sitting room has a choice of two leather, reclining sofas and an arm chair to relax on, whilst enjoying your favourite Netflix shows or sporting events, courtesy of the Sky family package, as well as boasting views of the coast from the patio doors, which open up onto the fantastic front garden.

There is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a convenient WC, as well as a family bathroom with shower over bath and a heated towel rail for added comfort.

The property has four large bedrooms to choose from; a king-size double suite with a seating area, TV with Sky, dressing room, en-suite shower room and patio doors that open onto the decking at the front of the house, two further doubles with TVs, patio doors and en-suite shower rooms, and one final double bedroom with a TV, you'll be spoilt for choice with this fantastic array of sleeping accommodation.

Outside there is off-road parking for two cars, as well as a small rear courtyard that can be accessed through the utility room, while the large front garden with sea views has patio door access from multiple rooms in the home, and offers a large lawn and decking area with picnic bench and Rattan furniture, ideal for sitting outside with a coffee or celebratory glass of fizz at the end of the day.

Nearby Germoe has a small selection of shops to browse, while Praa Sands has a post office and a bar/restaurant, which overlooks the mile-long sandy beach, ideal for swimming and surfing.

Visit Pengersick Castle, a fortified manor house with a Grade I listed 16th century tower house, and enjoy a few rounds at Golf and Country Club, which boasts incredible, panoramic sea views.

Walkers can easily access the South West Coast Path in both directions; head west towards Marazion to discover a sandy beach, the RSPB Marazion Marsh, home to a variety of wetland birds, and learn more about the past with a visit to Marazion Museum, while a walk east will take you towards Helston, at the northern end of the Lizard Peninsula, here you can explore the Museum of Cornish Life and enjoy a family day out at Flambards Theme Park.

There is a wealth of opportunity to explore Cornwall's coast and countryside from this stylish abode.

Germoe is a village and civil parish resting in easy reach of the coastal village of Praa Sands, sitting on the south coast in between Helston and Marazion. Praa Sands is known for its mile-long sandy beach and excellent surfing conditions. There is a bar/restaurant overlooking the beach – the perfect spot for lunch with a view or sunset drinks – a Post Office and general stores, beach café with fish & chips, and a beach/surf shop stocked with everything you could need for a great day at the beach. Praa Sands is also home to a Golf and Country Club, from where the most wonderful sea vista can be enjoyed whilst you play. Just inland from the beach is Pengersick Castle, the tower of which dates back to the 16th century. It is said that Pengersick is haunted, and that the ghost of a monk has been seen wandering the grounds! The house at Pengersick is rumoured to be the birthplace of John Carter, the self styled King of Prussia and a tunnel which leads from the house to the beach was apparently once used by smugglers.
