The property

Tucked away in the quaint village St Newlyn East, Cornwall, is this stunning three-bedroom detached house, Avalennek.

Boasting a breath-taking architecturally designed interior with all the luxury touches you could need to enjoy a memorable self-catered stay, Avalennek is a fantastic pet-friendly home from home for a group or family of six and their canine companion.

Park-up on the spacious driveway with room for four cars, before entering the hallway to discard any coats and shoes.

On the ground floor, you will find three well-appointed double bedrooms, one of which has its own en-suite shower room, and another with its own TV, perfect for those leisurely wake-ups.

The bedrooms are also served by a beautiful bathroom, where you can enjoy indulgent soaks or refreshing showers after a day of exploring.

Avalennek’s rear, enclosed garden is a must-see, with its large lawn and decking area, perfect for your pooch to stretch their legs, whilst you unwind in the bubbling hot tub.

Climb up to the first floor, where you will find a spacious open-plan living area, with high spec kitchen, featuring all the appliances you could need to whip up delicious offerings for your loved ones, ready to enjoy at the dining table for six over a celebratory bottle of fizz.

If the weather is nice, why not fire up the top of the range barbecue and dine out on the balcony, with rattan furniture and superb views overlooking the village cricket and football pitches, perfect for sports fans!

After dinner, retire to the generous corner sofa and gather your loved ones for a film night on the large flat screen TV, a wonderful end to the day.

Explore the local village, where you will find a well-stocked convenience store for picking up any essentials, and the welcoming Pheasant Inn, where you can treat your loved ones to a tasty meal and have night off from the kitchen.

The delightful Lappa Valley Railway rests nearby, where you can sit back and relax as you chug through wildlife rich surroundings and a former mining area.

Be sure to check out the nearby National Trust site of Trerice, an impressive 16th-century manor house with formal gardens and on-site restaurant.

For a day at the beach, Holywell Bay is within easy reach, here you can bathe on the golden sands with your favourite book, paddle the shores or try your hand at the local’s favourite sport of surfing!

There is also the excellent Holywell Bay Golf Club, sure to entice any keen putters.

Continue the seaside fun at Perranporth Beach, backed by dunes and speckled with rock pools, it is a great spot for taking to the waters on your paddleboard or kayak.

The bustling town of Newquay is a must-visit, here you can challenge your loved ones to a game of adventure golf, visit exotic animals at the popular Newquay Zoo, beachcombe the shores of three superb beaches, enjoy leisurely strolls along The Gannel Estauary, join the famous South West Coast Path or sampling fresh seafood at The Harbour Fish and Grill Restaurant.
