May Cottage is situated in Pentewan, a pretty hamlet positioned on a stunning stretch of the South Cornish coast.
A 5 minute walk takes you to Pentewan's beach, an adventure playground among bathers and water sports enthusiasts and a firm favourite among locals since it is so large it rarely gets crowded.
For walkers and cyclists, there is the Pentewan Valley Trail, a 4km inland road-free path through beautiful woodland, and the scenic coastal footpath which stretches in either direction over rugged cliff tops, and hidden coves.
Unspoilt and uncommercialised, the village itself provides a convenience store, pub and well-reputed bar/restaurant.
The picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey, which still boasts a working harbour and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within 5 miles (both linked to Pentewan via a cycle path) and the world famous Eden Project is less than 20 minutes by car.
Nestled in a sheltered valley along a quiet row of traditional cottages and away from the main thoroughfare, the cottage is truly a cosy haven by the sea and an excellent choice for breaks at anytime of year.
Comfortably furnished to a good standard throughout, the mix of traditional and contemporary adds character combined with comfort.
Entered via a stable door, the sitting room boasts plump leather seating and a wood burning stove and there is a substantial selection of books, DVD's, games and videos.
Upstairs are three prettily furnished bedrooms, a single and two double rooms, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for four occupants.
Separated from the cottage by a quiet lane are two decking areas equipped with garden furniture and a large garden with enchanting views across the valley.
There is ample parking for two cars.
