The property

Fabulous countryside views ideal for that much needed break from busy lives, Post House and sister cottage The Croft, are perfectly placed whether you want to relax and unwind or explore all that glorious Devon has to offer. Converted from a barn, this is an excellent choice for families or couples providing that getaway from it all atmosphere.

With spacious rooms, downstairs there is a fully equipped open plan, farmhouse-style kitchen and dining area with seating for 4 people.

The lounge offers comfortable leather sofas, exposed stonework and oak flooring.

Upstairs there are two pretty bedrooms with a shared family bathroom.

Outside there is an enclosed garden to the front and side of the property offering some fabulous views with patio and lawn area and equipped with garden furniture and barbecue.

There is also a field available for play, shared with The Croft.

The owners live in a neighbouring property so always on hand for guests. Surrounded by rolling hills and wooded valleys and situated between the beautiful National Parks of Exmoor and Dartmoor, Post House is one of two beautifully converted cottages making an ideal base whether you wish to explore or visit one of the fabulous nearby beaches.

Cornwall is within easy access with the sandy beaches of Bude and Widemouth Bay.

For the more energetic, the Tarka Trail offers miles of safe walking or cycling.

The market town of Holsworthy is just 2 miles away for all your supermarket needs, a lovely park area and leisure centre.

Exeter and Plymouth are further afield for the more dedicated shopper.

For those who wish to leave the cooking behind, there are plenty of country pub/restaurants in the surrounding area.

The ancient market town of Holsworthy lies nestled amid the rolling green hills of Tarka Country. There are many different landscapes within the region, from rugged cliffs and sandy beaches to rolling farmland and lush valleys. Holsworthy has much to offer, including a swimming pool, tennis court and splendid park with bowling green. The town centre boasts a varied selection of traditional shops, pubs and cafés, based around the market square. There is an 18-hole golf course just outside the town, while the local area is rich with opportunities for fishing, sailing, cycling and walking. The sandy beaches at Bude are within easy reach, while further afield visitors can explore the changing face of the South West Coastal Path, dramatic Exmoor and Dartmoor, and unspoilt Bodmin Moor, or simply relax in the quiet countryside that typifies North Devon.
