“The location was great with easy access to coast walks, local farm shops and plenty more for the family.”

In general the space worked for the 5 of us and having gated garden at back was great for the dog. Few suggestions to focus on that would improve. Clean kitchenware and provision of more glasses/bowls, clear garden dog mess, change a few mattresses, especially in en-suite room. Maintenance of plumbing (flushing en-suite toilet resulted in loud banging noise which often woke house), fix extractor fan in en suite as room smelt damp/musty. Maintenance of plumbing (flushing en-suite toilet resulted in loud banging noise which often woke house), fix extractor fan in en suite as room smelt damp/musty. The key improvement would be to leave a simple set of instructions or welcome info. No idea what to do with recycling, changing heating (log fire was great), Like I say all potential improvements which would easily move 3 star to 4. Hope that helps

Hi Chris. Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback which is always welcome and I am extremely sorry that we did not manage to meet both your and our own expectations during your recent stay. Unfortunately not all guests pick up their dog litter from the garden before leaving the property although the cleaners do undertake a full check and on this occasion must have missed some. I have visited the property in the last week to better understand some observations and as a result we have scheduled some maintenance to replace the extractors in both the en-suite and main bathrooms together with a new toilet cistern system in the en-suite toilet. All our mattresses are quite new and were ordered as medium firmness although the mattress you refer to does appear a little softer and is also now scheduled to be replaced. I did also check on kitchenware and the provision of all kitchenware items is in excess of 8 items to ensure that we have more than the maximum occupancy levels. An additional full dinner service is provided in the lounge sideboard I do normally email out a welcome pack which provides full details on areas such as recycling but unfortunately I have recently been admitted to hospital sepsis which meant that this did not get sent out prior to your stay - please accept my apologies for this. Once again thank you for your feedback which always assists us in aspiring to deliver a five star experience for all our guests Property Owner
