The property

An ideal base for family holidays, Avalenn Cottage is a split-level townhouse in a quiet residential area of Wadebridge.

The wonderful beaches of Polzeath and Daymer Bay are close by, along with the famous Camel Trail and the amenities of Wadebridge town centre, making the location of this property ideal for exploring the local attractions.

The entrance of the house is framed with delightful features such as the climbing shrub wall and apple tree which establishes a quintessential English cottage feel.

You enter into the mid-level hallway past the bathroom then down six steps to the cosy bedrooms.

From the hallway, you head up another six steps to the sitting area where you can enjoy stunning views across the estuary.

Accessed by a set of steps, the well-equipped galley kitchen overlooks the dining area below, allowing you to chat about the day’s activities whilst preparing the evening meal.

The garden can be found at the rear of the property and comes fully enclosed, appealing to parties with small children and/or one well-behaved dog.

A short stroll will take you into Wadebridge town centre with an excellent choice of cafes, restaurants and pubs as well a variety of quirky shops selling unusual gifts, artwork, clothing and books.

The town is also the hub for the Camel Trail and with cycle hire available you can enjoy the scenery at a faster pace.

The golden sands of Daymer Bay and Polzeath beach are within a short drive and are both dog friendly.

For a change of scene, visit the vibrant city of Truro, home to some striking cathedrals and quality shopping provisions, or the famous biomes of the Eden Project; with both destinations only half an hour’s drive away.

A delightful cottage that allows for easy exploration of Cornwall.
