“An absolutely stunning holiday property.”

The property is immaculate and spotlessly clean. Stylish and really tastefully decorated throughout. All furnishings, kitchen appliances, beds and bedding etc are high quality. The Owners have tried to think of everything you might need and these extra touches don't go un-noticed. Their attention to detail is second to none. The Owners notified me at 2.30pm to confirm it was ready for our arrival. The Owners are at hand if needed and contactable via a text message. I did contact the Owners and had a quick response and Shane was a delight to deal with. The property is 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Holywell Bay Beach. There are also 2 car parks and 2 pubs close to the beach. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again. I would go as far as saying it's the best holiday property I have stayed in.

“We've just returned from Palm View and had an amazing time.”

The property was wonderful and exactly as described. It was clean and in a wonderful location from an amazing beach that had something for everyone. The garden was perfect for our two dogs as it was fully contained. The property had everything that you would need and more. Shane made contact to welcome us and was available if we needed anything, We visited Lands End, Eden Project, and Duchy of Cornwall nurseries for afternoon tea, all of which were around 30-40 mins away. We would highly recommend a stay at Palm View and next time we visit Cornwall, we'll certainly be checking for availability to stay here again.

“Absolutely beautiful bungalow in a great location for Holywell beach, lots of nearby attractions & lovely places to eat, we especially loved the smugglers den pub!”

Lovely sea views from the master bedroom, kitchen & garden & it really did feel like home from home. Excellent facilities, extremely clean & tidy & a beautiful garden to relax in the sunshine in the evenings after busy days out & at the beach. “Palm View is a fabulous holiday home.”

It was immaculately clean on arrival and has everything you need. Sea view from the kitchen and the bedroom, enclosed, safe garden and a couple of minutes walk to the pub. You can walk down to the beach, which is spectacular. Thoroughly enjoyed our week here and hope to return.

“Had a great stay at palm view really well equipped, comfortable accommodation.”

Quiet area and close to beach .The londis on the caravan park is great for supplies and a morning paper.The only negative is the single beds may be great for children but a bit uncomfortable for adults we did report the tumble dryer not working on the last day but didn’t hear back

“Palm View has been a wonderful home from home for us for this last week.”

The owners have really thought of everything you could possibly need to enjoy your holiday. We loved the garden, fully enclosed and safe for our 2 dogs. The beach is just a 5 minute walk down the road and there are lovely walks either way on the coastal path with fantastic views of the coastline. The local pub is very friendly and there is a great Quiz on Wednesday nights not to be missed All in all our family from 58 years old to 8 months all had a great stay at Palm View and it thoroughly deserves its 5 stars Thankyou.

“A very well equipped and comfortable bungalow.”

The best accommodation we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean with stylish furniture. The owner has gone over and above board to make this accommodation more homely than just a basic holiday home. The enclosed and private garden with the additional summer house was a real bonus. Couldn’t have asked for more. Definitely recommended and will stay again.

“I cannot explain how brilliant this property is!”

!! Brilliant location, superb position and when we walked in, immaculate! The pictures for this property do NOT do this justice as looks extremely modern however it is VERY homely clean, modern and extremely comfortable! Everything you can imagine is supplied from cleaning materials, a very manageable, immaculate kitchen with washing machine, dryer and dishwasher! The oven is brilliant (NEFF) with a great hob and upgraded extractor fan! The garden is amazing with lovely shrubs, plants, and there is even a smoking area which is rare with properties today! (I am a smoker). Brilliant showers although en-suite very small but, adequate! Beds extremely comfortable as are the pillows! Nicki has ensured the lady staying has the right equipment with dressing table, light and mirrors! Do NOT park on the driveway to the driveway in front of garage as we have low sills on our Audi which caught and the neighbour came out and directed us to the rear parking space round to the rear! There is a fantastic garden shed which you can have a night with a few beers if the weather isn’t good! Only criticism was that the garden furniture was very uncomfortable as they need deeper, heavier garden pads! Would we stay here again, absolutely yes and cannot understand why this property is not booked all through the year!!!! Thanks Shane and Nicki for the fantastic experience you have given us!!!! WONDERFUL!!!

“Just spent a very enjoyable week in Palm View.”

The bungalow has everything you could possibly wish for to make your holiday comfortable. Lovely enclosed garden for the dogs, nice secure parking for cars. I can’t honestly think of anything negative to say, would definitely recommend staying here, truly deserves its 5 ⭐️.

“Firstly, the photos show it larger than it really is even though it was big enough for us.”

Dogs were safe in the garden & that was a large plus. Cleanliness? For most it was very clean, but I must say that that 2 of the freezer trays were dirty & had to be cleaned before use. (Bits of food gone green in corners) Dog lost her ball under settee & she came out covered in fluff & dirt. When looking to see under, would say it is months of dirt under them. Hoovered before we left & the cleaner should empty it, as was nearly full with dirt. Instructions on how to use appliances would be great, as we have never used them sort of appliances before & sure that other will have same problem. Sky TV, but need code to access most of it unless watching the free channels. Maintenance was fast, great & friendly when we needed him for a problem, but that did not stop us doing anything. Now for the overall stay of two weeks: Neighbours are very friendly & helpful. We had a very nice stay & it was easy to get to shops. great fish & chips from the Village Fish & Chips Shop in Cubert were fantastic, nicely priced & only 5 mins in car. Both our dogs loved it there & meeting neighbour’s dogs with advise on where to take them, & we had a very nice overall stay. Easy parking was an advantage when raining. En suite bathroom bed is great but other bed needs a topper of mattress change. We will use again when we go to Cornwall, as it is a great place to stay & easy access to other parts of south Cornwall. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves & sorry we had a few bits that needed speaking about, but without telling you, you don't know.

“The property was well situated in a quiet residential street.”

The facilities were good and it had everything you might need in the kitchen, although we did find that the dining area was a little ‘snug’ for table, chairs and 6 adults! The lounge seating was comfortable. The bedrooms were ok for our requirements, however, the en suite bathroom was somewhat cosy to say the least! Really enjoyed the garden as we were able to use it for every day of the holiday.

“We stayed as a family with our cockapoo.”

This is our second visit to Holywell Bay and the first to Palm View. The property didn't disappoint. Very clean and modern. Lovely secure and private garden and views of the sea (I could even view the sea laying on my bed!). The area itself is very quiet, a few minutes walk to a fantastic beach and the property felt like a home from home with all mod cons. I would definitely recommend and return for future holidays with my family.

“We have enjoyed a long awaited holiday at Palm View, we travelled around the area by car, visiting Padstow, Port Issac, Tintagel, Newquay, Perranporth and St Ives.”

We walked from the house along the beautiful beach, over the dunes and around the coast path to Perranporth, this was amazing although a little hair raising in places, not for the faint hearted. We went to the local pub, where the dogs were welcomed, the food was nice and we joined in with the Wednesday evening quiz, which was great fun. The café just by the beach was amazing and dog friendly too, offering, amongst a full menu, coffee and pastries to rave about. Palm View itself was extremely clean and comfortable, the garden is completely enclosed, even our tiny dog couldn't escape. Parking on the drive, very friendly and peaceful area 10/10 will look forward to staying again.

Cubert 1 mile; Newquay 5 miles; Perranporth 5.5 miles; Truro 12 miles; Padstow 18 miles.

Holywell Bay is a sleepy seaside village on the north Cornwall coast, boasting a fabulous beach with stunning dunes and an abundance of small streams and rock pools for the children to explore. Exposed to Atlantic swells, the beach is also popular with surfers and body boarders. Two of Holywell Bay’s most interesting features are the twin rocks just off the coast, known as Gull Rocks or Carter’s Rocks. The village has a selection of shops and pubs, whilst a mile away the village of Cubert has a Post Office, stores, bakery and cafe, village pub and restaurant. Just five miles away is Newquay, the home of the UK’s surf scene, boasting three major beaches, the National Surf Centre and an endless supply of rolling surf, making it a watersports paradise! The town, with its shopping centre, zoo, sea life centre and varied selection of restaurants and pubs, also promises a holiday to remember. If you seek more, the South West Coast Path passes in both directions along a stunning coastline of high cliffs, hidden coves and yet more beaches.
