 If you’ve children in tow then a visit to Flambards is a must. With rollercoasters, rides, and attractions like the Victorian Village, this is a full day out for all the family. Not far from the town is the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, where rescued seal pups from around the Cornish coast are cared for and rehabilitated. You can also get up close to sea lions and penguins too!  

 Nearby Porthleven has one of the most impressive harbours in Cornwall, and is home to a 3 mile long beach of that legendary Cornish golden sand. Relax on the beach, take a dip in the sea, and enjoy fresh catch in one of the many restaurants and cafes.  

 Further along the coast you’ll come to Marazion, home to the iconic St Michael’s Mount. With the castle perched atop, and its own harbour, shops, and restaurant, this magical location feels like its very own tiny kingdom. Walk across the causeway at low tide or, when the tide is in, take a short boat trip. Marazion itself is home to fine restaurants, galleries, shops, and a lovely beach. Marazion Marsh is a local nature reserve with protected status thanks to a population of rare birds.
