“We found the cottage to be well equipped, and very comfortable and clean .”

Lovely quiet place and the views were amazing. Jennie and paul were excellent hosts and nothing was to much trouble for them, I would highly recommend booking a holiday . My granson loved playing in the garden and on the red tractor. We are looking forward to booking another holiday with Jennie and paul again in the near future.

About the location

WHITSTONE

Bude 7 miles; Holsworthy 8 miles; Launceston 10 miles.

Whitstone is a small Cornish village located between Launceston and the seaside town of Bude and is home to a village store. Six miles from Whitstone is the beach at Widemouth Bay along with many inlets and coves. Just seven miles from Whitstone is the coastal town of Bude with wonderful beaches and great surfing all year round. Bude is on the South West Coast Path and has a superb golf course, indoor swimming pool, bowling alley/indoor play area and a good selection of local shops, supermarkets, cafes, pubs and restaurants. For days out, take the coast road north to see the lonely lighthouse above the sea of Hartland Point or walk or ride a dinkey down the steep and cobbled village street (no cars allowed) of beautiful Clovelly, to the harbour and the pub far below. Follow the coast in the other direction and there’s a little cove of Crackington Haven, Boscastle, King Arthur’s castle at Tintagel, Doc Martin’s Port Wenn at Port Isaac and yet more great surfing beaches at Polzeath. A wonderful area for a family holiday, all year round.
