The property

Lily Cottage is a sumptuous, three-bedroom property situated in the heart of Camelford, just a short walk to a number of amenities.

Formerly an ambulance station, the property has been lovingly converted into a fabulous holiday home, welcoming families looking to explore the picturesque North Coast of Cornwall.

Entrance is gained via the front door into a large hallway, which leads into a fully integrated kitchen/diner, well-equipped with a range of appliances including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and even a dishwasher, while the dining table provides a lovely setting to enjoy mealtimes.

Pop open a bottle of wine and relax in the sitting room, with three large sofas and a Smart TV for plenty of on-demand entertainment.

Patio doors open out onto the enclosed courtyard, ideal for enjoying an afternoon beverage in the sun and providing an enclosed space for the pooch to safely roam.

As you tire, climb upstairs to find the master bedroom, complete with a double bed and en-suite shower, a double bedroom, while a bunk room can be found downstairs.

Begin each morning with a refreshing shower in the family bathroom, making use of the contemporary fixtures and fittings, or return here in the evening for a warm bath; thoroughly deserved after a day of outdoor rambles.

Wander the streets of Camelford and expect to find a traditional selection of Cornish eateries serving tasty food and ales, as well as plenty of independent shops and supermarkets for those shopping sprees and picking up any forgotten essentials.

Embark on a journey to King Arthur’s birthplace, Tintagel Castle, before discovering Merlin’s Cave below, as well as a small stretch of sand, all of which offer a wealth of history and legend to explore.

Further afield rests the delights of Bude and Newquay, home to a wealth of fantastic attractions and golden sands, plus the rugged landscapes of Bodmin Moor are a great choice for walking enthusiasts.

Lily Cottage is a great touring base for exploring all the nooks and crannies of North Cornwall.

The old market town of Camelford is located close to Cornwall's north coast and is ideally situated for exploring the wild country of Bodmin Moor and the high cliffs, hidden coves, fishing villages and surfing beaches that populate this beautiful area. The southwest coastal path is a year round attraction and the surrounding villages and hamlets harbour a wealth of country inns and restaurants. The nearest beach to Camelford is Trebarwith Strand which offers both surf for the more adventurous and safe rock pools for the younger members! Truly wonderful and only around five miles away, it is perfect for a day by the sea and is also dog friendly. Nearby Wadebridge has a vibrant shopping centre and the Camel Trail, while Padstow, Rock, Polzeath, Port Isaac, where Doc Martin is filmed and Tintagel can all be reached in less than 30 minutes. A superb location all year round.
