“We had a lovely stay and the property was well equipped wigh everything you could possibly want including a lovely hamper.”

All bed linen ,towels etc was provided which was great and in very good clean condition. I was though very disappointed with the cleanliness of the cottage ,it did appear that no-one had checked the property before the next visitors arrived , we had to clean out the fridge due to spilt liquid in the bottom, wipe down the bannister as this was dirty and very sticky. Cobwebs hanging in all rooms ,dust on door ledges and across the top of the head boards ( not just a weeks dust) For the amount of money that my family and i paid i feel the property should of been checked over thoughly to ensure it was all in a clean condition.

Clean, modern, comfortable, well thought out and very well equipped. It’s within walking distance of beautiful Carbis Bay beach, Carbis Bay train station, bus stops and shops. With a two car parking bay you could holiday there and never use the car. Being on top of the hill there are sea views from the bedroom windows. A really lovely holiday home I would happily return to.

There is a steep hill down to the beach and back up to the property but well worth it. Property had everything we needed and more. We stayed for a week and didnt want to leave! Carbis Bay is stunning and you can catch a train into St. Ives that only takes a few minutes which the kids loved doing. I would highly recommend.

There is access to a railway station nearby which allows access into St Ives, but there is also a stunning coastal path to walk into St Ives. The property was perfect, with good outside space as well everything we needed inside. Would highly recommend this property.

The house is lovely, spacious, very clean & very comfortable, beds that comfy were buying the same mattresses for our beds. Everything we needed was provided for our stay. The hamper was really nice too, we felt right at home and after our 8 hour journey we were so happy to be greated by such a wonderful place. The garden is really nice. We spent our days during the heatwave enjoying the beaches and exploring Cornwall. We will most definitely be back to stay again , it was paradise.

In a good location, close to St Ives and close to the A30 for getting out and about in other parts of Cornwall. In a nice quiet road, the only noise we heard was the recycling collection at about 7.00am one morning. We’ve already booked again for next year!

“Fantastic holiday house, airy and spacious whilst still feeling comfortable and homely.”

Lovely hosts, and luxury welcome pack. Fast wifi and full Smart TV was a welcome change from our usual holiday house experience! Great location, just 10mins to beach, 5 mins to train stop into St Ives, great restaurants within 5-10 mins. The beach is stunning and so clean with good facilities. Wide variety of activities and attractions within easy reach….we had a paddle board lesson with the Ocean Sports Centre down on the beach which was a lot of fun, saw a show at the Minack Theatre which was a beautiful setting, lamp lit story / ghost walk with Shanty Baba in St Ives, Tate St Ives. I can highly recommend both the holiday house and location :)

It is well equipped and very comfortable. It is well situated for the beach and a short drive distance away from lots of different tourist attractions. Overall, the accommodation was satisfactory. As with most places, you can always find something that could do with doing. The bathroom seals need replacing soon, and some of the shower lights had mold in them so could do with a good clean. There was dust on the lampshades and hair still on the bedroom carpet. The decking area was full of sand/stones and there were some cobwebs on the windows. Therefore, I did feel the accommodation was cleaner once I had left. I would definitely recommend this property to stay in as it was well equipped, had a light and airy feel, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Not more you could ask for really.

The kitchen and outdoor dining area are good for enjoying food, the barbecue helps to add to the flavours. The beds are of good quality and coupled with the sea air help to make for a good nights sleep. We very much enjoyed our stay, we wanted to stay longer.

It’s like home from home. Was lovely and clean, beds are so comfy & it has everything you need from a bbq, washing line, every cooking utensils down to fresh flowers and a lovely Luxury hamper left for us all. Staying in carbis bay is a great base for getting around to other areas such as st Ives, down the hill is the train station which goes into st Ives and our ticket only cost 60p per person!! Will be returning in the future for sure!

It’s very well furnished, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, it’s very clean and the owner is very welcoming and helpful. The location is ideal, close to Carbis Bay beach and the station where you can take a train into the centre of St Ives (better not to drive!). We visited several major attractions, all a relatively short drive from Chy Kerris, such as Lands End, Lost Gardens of Helligan, Minack Theatre, Pendennis Castle and of course St Ives.

“A beautiful and really well located house.”

A short walk to the lovely beach with excellent facilities (bar, snack bar and water sports hire) and the station for the train to St Ives. (Very cheap, quick and lovely views, with the added benefit of avoiding the nightmare of parking). The house itself was even better than expected - the outside space and seating areas are much better than in the photos - benches since replaced with chairs and there is also a rattan lounge set with cushions. Also a great covered space to dry washing and hang wetsuits etc. Kitchen very well stocked and welcome hamper was a lovely touch. We would be tempted to book again but would definitely recommend for both internal space, facilities and location.

St Ives 2 miles ; Hayle 3.5 miles ; Penzance 8.5 miles

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line.
