“Location is very good to access Cornwall.”

Owners were lovely and the property was very clean and very well maintained. It is very cosy for two. Only criticism is storage in the bedroom not a lot of room for clothes. Overall a very good holiday home.

Hi Thanks for your feedback we do take feedback and appreciate your comments. There is a built in wardrobe with shelves above for jumpers and several drawers in the wardrobe. There is also hanging space in the hall but I can add some hangers here to add space for coats. It is a smaller 2 person property hence the very reasonable price compared to alot of holiday lets in Cornwall. I do think there is plenty of space for a holiday as it is a holiday let not a house or hotel. Thanks we are glad you enjoyed your stay despite the wardrobe space. Property Owner

Little Beach House is stylishly presented with a nautical inspired interior and comfortable, welcoming accommodation.

Blessed with a generous shared sunspot garden for barbecues, morning lattes and barbecue suppers, and the bonus of a decadent private sauna room - it really does make a heavenly homestay close to the ocean.

Within a five minute walk from sandy Crinnis Beach, the shoreline beckons for romantic meanderings, paddles and swims.

Ramble the cliff top boasting magnificent ocean views or pack a picnic.

Charlestown, a haunt of TV's Poldark, hosts Tall Ships, traditional inns and a gathering of galleries, gift shops and restaurants - a pit-stop favourite!

The beautiful resort of Fowey is seven miles away, famed for Regatta Week; a much loved sailing event and the Daphne du Maurier Festival.

The harbour and estuary form part of a spectacular coastline; hire a canoe and explore the secret creeks, board a pleasure boat or enjoy a fishing excursion.

Discover secluded beaches and woodlands.

The water taxi to Polruan and Mevagissey makes a happy trip and the Bodinnick car ferry lands at Looe and Polperro - ideal for lunch and a scenic drive through this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Tee off at one of the three nearby golf courses or discover The Eden Project, with amazing bio-domes of plant life, a 10 minute drive away or The Lost Gardens of Heligan, reached within eight miles.

Little Beach House makes a fabulous base for exploring Carlyon Bay.

Annexed to the owners' own home on Beach Road with a garden for play and relaxation, this perfectly formed retreat is stylishly designed for two - a sunshine haven with an open-plan living room; a space to kick-back and dine, with a small kitchen for rustling up lunch - if you don't succumb to the superb restaurants and inns alongside the picturesque harbour at Charlestown!

A sleep inducing bedroom, a pristine shower room and an indulgent sauna room for pure relaxation makes this seaside pad a firm favourite.

About the location

ST. AUSTELL

Charlestown 2 miles; Carlyon Bay 3 miles; Mevagissey 6 miles; Fowey 8 miles.

The old market town of St Austell, just a mile or two from the south coast, is famous as the historic centre of the china clay mining industry. Today, its many beaches and its sub-tropical gardens provide plenty to see and do. The wonderful Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project are perfect for a family day out, and a little further afield Caerhays Castle provides a stunning backdrop to Porthluny Cove. On the edge of town, St Austell Brewery offers tours of the Victorian brewing equipment and a chance to sample the local beer, and for those looking for surf and sand, St Austell Bay has several beaches to choose from - Porthpean, Carlyon Bay, Pentewan, Polkerris - the last offering a variety of water-sports. As well as a small shingle beach, Charlestown, a pretty, historic port, often has wooden sailing ships in the harbour, and is popular as a film location. A little further afield are Fowey and its beautiful estuary to the east and the fishing port of Mevagissey to the west. With lots to do and something to keep the whole family entertained, St Austell is a great year-round destination.

Note: No washing machine in the property, guests may use owners washing machine/tumble dryer by arrangement.
