The property

Charlestown Cottage is a charming cottage on the outskirts of Falmouth, in the hamlet of Goldenbank.

This inviting house, located just a mile from the beach, is a wonderful getaway for families looking to spend some time near the water.

Before unloading your belongings and making your way into your new home-away-from-home, park your car in the off-road parking place.

Discover the property's open-plan living space, which is guaranteed to be the social hub, replete with all the amenities needed for a short break, such as an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, and even a washing machine, so you won't have to bring your entire wardrobe!

Prepare a nice home-cooked meal or order a takeaway from a nearby Falmouth restaurant.

Make yourself at home on the sofa while you turn on the Smart TV with Netflix along with a DVD player and search for your favourite shows, then proceed to the bathroom for a quick rinse before bed.

The master bedroom has a double bed and a TV, while the second has a 4ft double bed that can only be used by one visitor.

Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated, with comfortable furnishings and ample storage for your belongings.

Spend a few moments relaxing on the outdoor patio, which includes a seating area where you may unwind with a glass of bubbly in hand.

Go for a walk around the neighbourhood, perhaps investigating the Maenporth Cove and Swanpool Beach coastal trails.

Take use of the Pendra Loweth Café and Bar, which is excellent for grabbing a quick meal to eat on those evenings when you don't feel like cooking.

There's also a fully-equipped gym and tennis courts, as well as an outdoor and soft play area for the kids.Shared plunge pool.

Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River.

Return to the charm of Charlestown Cottage for an evening of relaxation, whatever you choose to spend your valuable holiday time.

Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbour-side pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes). For nature lovers there is the Swanpool Nature Reserve, a lagoon and site of special scientific interest teeming with a variety of wildlife. There is also a golf course.
