The property

A charming end-terrace cottage resting on the outskirts of the town of Fraddon, 4 Higher Fraddon is a delightful base for a family or two couples, along with their four-legged friends, ideal for exploring Cornwall.

Park off-road and unpack into this well-presented property.

With bare stone feature walls and a light and airy atmosphere, be welcomed into the open-plan living space, where guests will find a delightfully furnished kitchen space with ample amenities and stylish blue cupboards, an ideal spot to cook up a storm, and from here, serve your masterpiece at the dining table, beside the stone fireplace and the welcoming glow of the woodburning stove.

The sitting area overlooks the garden through bifold doors which can be opened in the warmer months to let in the fresh air.

Access the rear garden and enjoy a glass of fizz in the sunshine as your four-legged family member reclines in the grass beside you.

Freshen up in the contemporary shower room, before settling down into one of the two beautifully presented bedrooms.

Choose between a king with en-suite bathroom with a claw foot bath ideal for a soak amongst the bubbles, and a second double with an en-suite shower room and beautiful bare stone feature wall.

Fraddon is a Cornish town with easy access to local attractions.

The town offers a selection of amenities, including a convenience store and local bars and eateries, for example The Blue Anchor Inn.

Further from the property you will find Goss Moor National Nature Reserve, an ideal spot for birdwatching and enjoying a countryside walk.

Keep the little ones entertained with a visit to Dairyland Farm Park, or head over to the seaside town of Newquay where there is a lovely beach, coastal walks, an aquarium and local museum, as well as more eateries and independent shops.

Visit Perranporth Beach and enjoy a stroll along the St Agnes Heritage Coast.

All of this and more with a stay at the delightful 4 Higher Fraddon.

About the location

FRADDON

Newquay 8 miles; Truro 10 miles.

A typically Cornish village, just eight miles from the lively resort of Newquay with its outstanding nightlife and renowned surfing beaches. Little traffic now passes through the village, which at one time was on the old coaching route to London. The surrounding area has much to interest visitors, with stunning gardens, historic houses, superb coastal walking and sandy beaches, several theme and leisure parks and of course Newquay’s famous zoo and sea life centre. Spend a day at the National Surf Centre on Fistral beach, hit the shops in nearby Truro with its cathedral and cobbled streets or savour the atmosphere and experience of the tropical rainforest at the Eden Project (16 miles). There’s something for everyone in this great holiday area.
