“Where to start describing this fantastic accommodation.”

From the warm welcome off Kate to the attention to detail in all the lovely things which were provided to ensure our holiday stay was so comfortable. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed and amazing power shower. It was all just as described by previous reviews and we couldn’t fault anything ! All we really needed was us, food and our clothes because everything was provided, down to spare shampoo and electric tooth brush charger ! Perfect location for a couples holiday in beautiful ...

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed and amazing power shower. It was all just as described by previous reviews and we couldn’t fault anything ! All we really needed was us, food and our clothes because everything was provided, down to spare shampoo and electric tooth brush charger ! Perfect location for a couples holiday in beautiful Cornwall, so peaceful and quiet yet local pubs and the fabulous beach cafe 5 min away, we can’t wait to visit again. This property is a credit to the owner.

“We had a lovely stay in Praa Sands.”

Katie was a great hostess. She was very friendly and helpful in recommending places to visit, she was lovely. The accommodation is very nice. It was clean and comfortable and had every thing that was needed to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The location is central to some interesting places to visit. We would certainly recommend this studio to anyone and would return ourselves at any time.

“No expense has been spared on the fixtures and fittings of this luxurious studio.”

The bed is so comfortable, as are the easy chairs. There are little touches which make all the difference, like the electric toothbrush charger, hair towel, plenty of loo rolls, mirrors which light up when touched, easy opening cupboards and wardrobes. Wonderful garden and views to the sea. Katie was so friendly and welcoming, even putting a fresh rose in the vase to welcome me. Cannot recommend highly enough. This was a real find! So handy to explore the Penzance and Lizard areas.

“Excellent. Lovely studio ideal for two people (also suitable for solo travellers ).”

Very clean and modern. Lovely garden to sit in and view of the sea. Ideally located for Penzance Truro and the surrounding area. No tricky lanes to contend with ! Parking on owners drive. Katie made us very welcome. Would say this is the best place we have stayed. Looking forward to a return visit.

The property

Greenside Studio, is a unique property sitting in a large peaceful garden.

It has its own deck where you can sit and enjoy the sun with a good book, or indeed a cold glass of something special in the evenings.

Plenty of garden furniture here too, along with a picnic table for outdoor dining.

The view from here is second to none looking out over the 9-hole Golf Course and on out to sea.

On a summers day the Bi-Fold doors can be folded all the way back to enhance your view from inside.

The property has a contemporary feel and is light and airy throughout.

There’s a dressing room and an excellent shower room.

From Greenside there is much to explore locally.

The stroll down to the sandy beach is pleasant, and you’ll go past Pengersick Castle on the way down which is renowned for being the most haunted castle in Europe!

Praa Sands has a couple of small local shops and a beach pub/restaurant which has been recently refurbished.

Praa Sands is on the South West Coastal Path so from the beach you can take a walk or hike either way.

To the East is the harbour town of Porth Leven with lots of great foodie places and cute shops.

If you walk West towards Lands End you’ll come to St Michaels Mount which is a must for visitors to the West of Cornwall.

Also, a day set aside for St Ives with its galleries and shops and of course the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture garden.

So much to see you’ll wish you were here for longer!!

About the location

PRAA SANDS

Marazion 4.5 miles ; Helston 6 miles ; Porthleven 5 miles

The village of Praa Sands sits on the south coast in between Helston and Marazion. Praa Sands is known for its mile-long sandy beach and excellent surfing conditions. There is a bar/restaurant overlooking the beach – the perfect spot for lunch with a view or sunset drinks. Praa Sands is also home to a Golf and Country Club, from where the most wonderful sea vista can be enjoyed whilst you play. Just inland from the beach is Pengersick Castle, the tower of which dates back to the 16th century. It is said that Pengersick is haunted, and that the ghost of a monk has been seen wandering the grounds! The house at Pengersick is rumoured to be the birth place of John Carter, the self styled King of Prussia and a tunnel which leads from the house to the beach was apparently once used by smugglers. There are supermarkets and other retail stores in Penzance (8 miles) and Helston (6 miles).
