    “A lovely apartment in a great location.”

    We used it as a base to go visit a lot of different areas of Cornwall on our honeymoon. The apartment was clean and welcoming. Had everything we needed. Our dog loved her stay there as well. She enjoyed the lovely little garden. The one negative about the whole stay was that the bed was quite uncomfortable, and after a full day out, we couldn't get a good night's sleep.

Strawberries & Cream Retreat is a wonderful ground-floor property, located in the quiet and quaint hamlet of Treleigh, just 3 miles from the nearest beach and beautiful North coast.

As you head up the pathway with suitcase in-hand, swing open the gate to reveal a glorious garden, fit with both a patio and a lawn with sun loungers to attend to all your sun soaking needs.

Off the garden is the conservatory, with large windows flooding the room with natural light.

Take a step into the open-plan sitting room for a spot of lunch, with homemade scones and local jam and cream provided by the lovely owner of the property, a delicious treat to begin your day of adventure.

After you’ve relaxed and indulged, head into the bedroom to unpack your belongings for the trip, fitted with a glorious king-size bed, it’s the perfect place to end your action-packed day.

Once you've settled in, take a walk into the local area or venture a little further onto the coast, boasting magnificent views at both the Godvey and St. Agnes Heritage Coast, it’s a real treat for avid walkers or for a romantic picnic amongst the Cornish hills.

Be sure to check out Portreath beach just 4 miles away and Chapel Porth at St Agnes a little further and is a beautiful unspoilt sandy area boasting caves and cliffs perfect for adventuring in and exploring the wildlife that visits.

A delightfully quaint hamlet found north of Redruth in Cornwall, Treleigh is a peaceful and pleasant settlement. Located closely to the Godrevy Heritage Coast, it's a wonderful village that allows for exploration of Cornwall's coast through lazy beach days, surfing experiences, and of course indulging in the world famous Cornish pasties. Dotted with individual shops and the brilliant Keltek Brewery. It's also within close proximity to a variety of attractions, making it a marvelous place to spend a summer vacation with your loved ones. Just under 10 miles away is Poldark, a brilliant place to visit to learn about the history and mining culture of Cornwall, at the most southerly tip of Cornwall and the UK, it's also a great place to experience magnificent views and beaches, as well as scenes from the British drama series 'Poldark'.
