    “My friend & I had planned a visit to Cornwall for a short break & to visit a few places of interest to us.”

    We needed a comfortable place to be able to relax & rest during our visit. The Bethany provided all our requirements perfectly. The property was clean & tidy, also furnished very nicely & a lovely kitchen with everything we needed! After some busy days sightseeing, we were able to relax comfortably in the Bethany, We are keen to return to Cornwall in the future & would consider this Airb&b for our base to stay once again & would definitely recommend to our family & friends, if they were ...

1 Bethany Court is a charming ground floor apartment nestled in central Bodmin. This abode is the ideal base for couples or a single traveller looking to rest and enjoy a break from the usual everyday routine.

As you enter the property there is a storage room housing all the cleaning essentials to the right.

The natural light draws your eyes down the passage into the dining area where there is sufficient dining space for 3 guests, with views of the exterior seen from the patio doors.

The open plan living area, with blackout blinds for those making use of the sofa bed, creates a sense of flow allowing you to easily access the lounge and kitchen area too.

Relax on the large sofa and catch up on the latest TV shows.

Alternatively make your way to the fully-equipped kitchen where you can create a hearty meal.

If you are after some fresh air and sun-rays, the property offers an outdoor seating area which is a fully-enclosed private courtyard, the ideal spot to enjoy a brew.

When evening calls, gets some rest, the bedroom offers a double-bed as well as wardrobe space.

Freshen up in the bathroom which is comprised with a bath and and over-head shower.

If you are looking to be surrounded by natural beauty , pop your hiking boots on and head to the Bodmin Moors.Alternatively the 19th-century high-Victorian country house - Lanhydrock House and Garden is worth visiting.

Lostwithiel 6 miles; St. Austell 13 miles; Padstow 16 miles; Newquay 21 miles.

Bodmin, the one-time County Town of Cornwall with its narrow streets, shops and pubs, is perfectly placed for exploring all that this fabulous holiday area has to offer. The outstanding surf, rugged cliffs and hidden coves of the north coast beaches and the quieter sands and river estuaries of the south coast are both 15 miles away while on the edge of town is the fascinating museum and haunting presence of the old Bodmin Jail. The popular Camel Trail for cyclists and walkers also winds its way through the town on its journey to the sea at Padstow. Close by are the open spaces and wind swept grandeur of Bodmin Moor while the incomparable Eden Project (11 miles), Falmouth’s National Maritime Museum (30 miles) and the beautiful harbour town of Padstow with its famous pubs and restaurants (16 miles) make for great days out. Also within easy reach and ideal for a fun-filled day out, guests can visit Lanhydrock House, the small town of Fowey and Charlestown with its Tall Ships, The Eden Project and Lostwithiel. There is a good choice of country pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area.
