Higher Kernick View is a contemporary first-floor apartment situated near the idyllic village of Helland, just north of Blisland in Cornwall.

Higher Kernick View is a wonderful property for couples who want to be close to the beautiful Bodmin Moor and enjoy the wide-open countryside views, yet still have easy access to the coast.

Park your vehicle in the off-road parking space and walk along the garden path to access your holiday apartment.

A washer and dryer are located in the utility room on the ground floor.

Open-plan living space on the first floor awaits, where you can whip up delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen and savour them at the breakfast bar for two or on your private balcony overlooking the breathtaking countryside views.

Easily accessible too are both the north and south coasts with half-hour drives taking you to some of the most beautiful of Cornwall’s beaches and coastal panoramic views.

Visit picturesque Charlestown, on the south coast and follow in the footsteps of Poldark, with perhaps a little detour to the charming fishing village of Mevagissey.

A day at the beach in the popular village of Polzeath, where you can soak up the sun, go surfing, and eat fresh fish and chips with the sand between your toes, is a must for any beach lover.

Cracking Crab and The Waterfront, two of the area's most popular seafood restaurants, are also located in the village.

Tintagel, with its impressive castle, National Trust site of the Old Post Office and, of course, its exciting new foot bridge can be found further along the coast.

Cardinham Woods, Bodmin Keep and Jail and the Bodmin Town Museum await you nearby.

Situated under the western edge of granite-bound Bodmin Moor, the village of Blisland retains its age old character and is the only village in Cornwall to have a village green with trees. Around the green, cluster old houses and cottages, as well as the famous, award-winning Blisland Inn. The village is located less than three miles from the A30, and so provides an ideal central location for touring Cornwall. Nearby, Poley’s Bridge marks the beginning of the Camel Trail, a 17-mile long route, which follows a long disused old steam engine railway line to Padstow. The route is completely traffic-free and perfect for walkers and cyclists. You can even explore the trail on horseback and a purpose-built hide has been constructed between Wadebridge and Padstow, so even birdwatchers are catered for! Pull on your walking boots and explore Bodmin Moor, or venture to the coast with your buckets and spades and enjoy a day on one of the many beautiful beaches that stretch along Cornwall’s northern coastline.
