The property

Spring Park Farmhouse is a stunning detached farmhouse located on the outskirts of Launceston, Cornwall.

A quaint cottage with views across the rolling countryside beyond.

Internally, the owners have renovated the property, but have decorated it to a countryside standard with rustic hardwood flooring, which gives the cottage a mass of character.

Stepping through the front door, where you can kick off your boots and coats and into the lovely open-plan interior.

The spacious sitting room with cosy sofas and a large TV and DVD player.

Spend your evening keeping up to date with all your favourite shows and enjoying quality family time.

The kitchen area is amply-equipped with everything you will need to set you up for a weekend in the countryside.

There is a dining area with seating for up to six people, a wonderful social space for the whole family to dine together.

Upstairs are four bedrooms: two king-size and two doubles, with one bedroom housing a bookcase across one wall, stocked full with books to choose from and enjoy while in bed of an evening or early morning.

There are two en-suite shower rooms and a family shower room, with modern fixtures and fittings, making it a wonderful and relaxing experience.

There is off-road parking available for several cars.

Outside has a large lawned garden and patio area with a table and chairs, perfect for sitting out of an evening with a glass of wine.

The local attractions of Launceston include Launceston Castle, a 13th century castle, offering magnificent architectural views, landscaped gardens with a lovely picnic area for families.

Coronation Park is a wonderful recreation area, with a dog park for your pet to stretch its legs, and athletic fields and courts for you to get involved in.

The town of Launceston, situated on the Devon and Cornwall border, has wonderful architecture, including some fine Georgian buildings in the central square, and is dominated by the ruins of a Norman castle sitting high above the town. You can take a stroll to the Dog friendly Willow Tree Cafe and Woodland Walk or visit the steam train from Launceston through the beautiful Kensey Valley on a 5-mile round trip. Launceston is within driving distance of the seaside resorts of Bude and Padstow to the north, and Plymouth to the south, as well as the stunning Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor. A superb base for exploring Cornwall and Devon.
