The property

Perfect for couples and families, Chy-Nans is one of only three bungalows in the village.

It occupies an enviable position, tucked away beside a gentle stream in a leafy setting close to the resort facilities.

It is set apart for providing a conservatory with a dining table and a door that leads to a private patio equipped with a picnic bench and summer seat.

The interior is smart and modern from top to toe with a spacious sitting room and kitchen combo, two well-appointed bedrooms and a pristine bathroom.

Families are well catered for with two TV's, books and DVD's and the bungalow could suit those with limited mobility with an access ramp and accommodation arranged on one level.

Allocated parking is available for one car plus ample visitor parking. Set on the far edge of the Village, Chy-Nans enjoys access from the winding lanes which lead in from the Swanpool beach road.

Whilst just a short stroll from the centre of the village, this spot seems to retain an air of tranquility, being beautifully planted, guests will enjoy seasonal highlights all year round.

Spring daffodils, summer ferns, rhododendrons and autumnal oaks are fastidiously managed and make up just part of the award winning flora and foliage displays in the grounds.

Drawn to the Village because of the close proximity to local beaches, guests can takea short drive along the pretty country lanes to arrive at Swanpool beach.

Here you will find a sandy, sheltered cove that is popular amongst families.

If you fancy lunch or dinner with a sea view we can thoroughly recommend Indaba serving delicious local fayre, and there are several other reputable cafes and eateries in the area.

Just as convenient is the slightly quieter cove at Maenporth, again the perfect spot in which to spend a day on the beach but close enough to pop to for a couple of hours and an invigorating swim. North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns.

Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River.

Penryn 2 miles; Mabe 3 miles; Truro 11 miles.

Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbour-side pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes). For nature lovers there is the Swanpool Nature Reserve, a lagoon and site of special scientific interest teeming with a variety of wildlife. There is also a golf course. Falmouth offers such a rich variety of landscape and attractions for people of all ages, it is sure to tempt you back time and again.
