“We had a great stay, the cottage and complex has everything you need.”

It was warm and furnished very nicely. The cottage had all the facilities you need for a short stay, comfortable beds, good shower and fast WiFi. The grounds are lovely even in November and the location for Falmouth and local beaches is excellent. We look forward to returning.

The property

A lovely two bedroom terraced cottage with garden views, close to the tennis courts, and providing ease of access to footpaths leading to Maenporth Beach and lovely country walks. Set in a quiet spot, just along from the tennis courts, Owl's Roost is well placed to admire the garden views and hedgerow creatures.

Owl's Roost is nicely presented and light and airy with attractive open plan living space and French windows opening onto the gardens which are fascinating in any season.

The well equipped kitchen has ample work area and there are two bedrooms; a twin and a double both overlooking the gardens.

The terrace is a pleasant place to relax after a walk to the beach or a quick workout in the gym!

There is a parking space and visitor parking nearby.

Enjoying the south west aspect of the village, Owl's Roost benefits from easy access to the coastal footpaths and Maenporth Cove.

Walking to the beach from your cottage will take approximately fifteen minutes, making it easy to leave the car behind for the day.

Guests wanting to enjoy a game of tennis are just a stone's throw away from the all weather courts whilst those wanting to relax will appreciate the private terrace.

Just a few minutes stroll to the central amenities, those who have not ventured to the beach may enjoy a dip in the Splash Pool or a work out in the Gym.

Perhaps the best work out to be had is a circular walk from the cottage, down to Maenporth cove, up across the spectacular coastal footpath toward Swanpool and then back up through the pretty lanes to the village; roughly five miles but well worth the effort for those wanting to appreciate all that this special location has to offer.

North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns.

Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River.

The Cornish Cottage Holidays team is always on hand to advise you on the area and to help you plan your stay with us. The Village of Gardens, Pendra Loweth is a village of purpose built and privately owned self-catering holiday cottages.

Situated in the beautiful and peaceful valley leading down to Maenporth Beach, Falmouth.

With onsite facilities including tennis courts, children's outdoor play area and an indoor plunge pool (seasonal opening hours).

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £100.
