“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Harlyn and would highly recommend it.”

The property was comfortable and well equipped down to little things like supplying hand soap in the bathrooms. The walk from the village is arduous but as we love mevagissey it's worth it.

The property

Situated on the easily accessible side of Mevagissey, this traditional, single-storey house sits in a quiet cul-de-sac, on the edge of the fishing village of Mevagissey.

Light and spacious, and offering three bedrooms, one with an en-suite, this Mevagissey cottage provides a comfortable holiday home for a family looking to stay in this charming area of Cornwall.

The sitting room with dining area is perfect for everyone to gather together, whilst the attached sun room and the separate conservatory both offer wonderful places to relax, perhaps with a book as the sun circles this homely Mevagissey cottage throughout the day.

The picturesque quay is a popular feature of Mevagissey, where you find plenty of boats bobbing along the shore, and streets lined with gift shops, restaurants and bars, open all year round.

For a complete contrast of scenery, within a short drive of this Mevagissey cottage are a number of gardens to explore, including the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the exotic blooms at the Eden Project and the charming woodlands of Caerhays Castle.

Families will love to visit the various attractions in the area from the Shipwreck Centre in romantic Charlestown to the Wheal Martyn china clay museum and the World of Model Railways.

Sandy beaches are plentiful in this part of Cornwall, and so from this Mevagissey cottage there is something for everyone to enjoy, rain or shine.

Note: This property is next to Ref. 2919, together they sleep 7.
