“We’ve just spent 4 weeks at Bert’s Barn and loved every minute.”

The property is perfect, huge lounge with lots of character including vaulted ceiling and a log burning stove. 3 cosy bedrooms, kitchen with all you need and 2 bathrooms, one with a roll top bath. The location was perfect, with Pollurian beach only a 4-5 minute walk, the village centre with pubs, shops and a chippy maybe only 3 minutes walk and then you have access to lots of other great places only a short drive away. The hosts Jim and Rachel are great, very friendly, full of local knowledge ...

The hosts Jim and Rachel are great, very friendly, full of local knowledge and very helpful. We really felt at home staying at Bert’s Barn and we would have happily stayed on another month or even two if we could. I think these cottages are pretty new to Sykes and I’d imagine will get booked up for next season very soon. There are 2 other cottages in the same courtyard so if you’re a multi family wanting to stay together but not in the same house, this place would be ideal. We would love to go back again sometime soon. Ash and Sarah.
