“This is the fourth time staying here.”

As always doesn’t disappoint. The house is in the perfect position to the town and beaches. There’s everything in the house that you need. You get a welcome pack with coffee, tea etc (please put a decaf option in). You can take 2 dogs with you which is perfect for us. My only negative comment is that the guttering is broke and when it rained it was very noisy pouring through.

You can park directly outside the property and enter into the hallway, where you can leave your luggage as you take your first glances at this sumptuous abode, discovering the open-plan living area first, with a well-equipped kitchen, dining and sitting area.

Within the kitchen you will find a contemporary assortment of appliances, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, along with gloss white units and ample worktop space for preparing meals.

Take a seat upon the sofa or armchair, switching on the TV as you chat about the day’s events, debating over where next to explore – will it be the award-winning Fistral beach or the Zoo?

The bedrooms have a refreshing feel with neutral furnishings and plenty of storage space; on the second-floor lies the master with king-size bed and en-suite shower, while there is also a double and a twin on the first floor, served by a gleaming bathroom where lazy soaks can be savoured.

Being so centrally located, with so much accessible in walking distance, including a wide range of pubs, cafés and restaurants, there is something to satisfy all tastes.

Pack your beach bag and head to Fistal Beach, renowned for being one of the top beaches in the UK and credited a Blue Flag status, here you can catch some of the biggest waves from the Cribbar Reef or simply sunbathe on the expansive sand dunes.

Join the beautiful South West Coastal Path, a must for any avid walker, and marvel at some unbeatable coastal vistas, before refuelling at a Newquay eatery, with a wide range of pubs, cafés and restaurants to choose from.

Newquay is an ideal base for discovering the rest of Cornwall too, with the fishing village of Padstow just under 15 miles away, home to a vibrant harbour and eclectic mix of fisherman’s cottages and merchant houses, or venture inland to Cornwall’s only city, Truro, where you can catch up on your retail therapy.
