Located on Mount Wise in Newquay, overlooking the Gannel estuary, and offering sea views out to Crantock, the Pentire Peninsula and Fistral Beach, is The Lookout, a contemporary, open-plan, second-floor apartment in the heart of Newquay.

This property is the ideal accommodation for a couple, two couples or a small family wanting to explore the coastline of north Cornwall and enjoy Newquay's famous surfing and watersport beaches.

Stroll along the Gannel estuary towards Pentire lookout point, which offers views towards Crantock and its lovely sandy beach.

Enjoy a round of golf at the spectacular 18-hole golf course, stroll around the idyllic harbour, watching the boats bobbing in the water and try a surfing lesson at the Surf School before heading out into the water and taking on the rolling waves of the Atlantic at any of Newquay's fantastic beaches, which includes Fistral, Great western and Newquay Beach.

Walkers can join the South West Coast Path to explore the stunning coastline and take in some incredible views and attractions, whichever direction you head in.

Venture north towards the Trevose Head Heritage Coast, enjoying the views at the National Trust's Carnewas at Bedruthan Steps, stop for some delicious and fresh fish and chips at Rick Stein's, see the 19th century Trevose Head Lighthouse and visit Tintagel, known for its castle which was the birthplace of King Arthur, as well as the nearby attraction of Merlin's Cave.

Head south to enjoy the glorious beaches of Crantock and Perranporth, as well as the picturesque St. Agnes Heritage Coast towards the popular town of St Ives, known for its arts scene, with the Tate St Ives and Barbara Hepworth Museum well worth a visit.

The cathedral city of Truro and the renowned attraction of Eden Project are also a short drive away.

For avid walkers, the South West Coast Path passes in both directions along a stunning coastline of high cliffs, hidden coves and yet more beaches. The quaint harbour and fishing village of Padstow is just 14 miles away, while Truro, with its museums, cathedral, restaurants and cobbled streets, as well as the Eden Project, can be reached within 30 minutes.
