“Amazing decorated property with a beautiful garden and so close to the town and beaches.”

Super clean house with everything you need available. Sam and Amy are the owners and they go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need and are comfortable providing all the towels and bed linen and even a welcome pack for ourselves and our doggies. We would highly recommend this property if you like this area which is a stones throw from fistral beach.

My teenagers loved the picture frame TVs in their bedrooms and the USB charging ports in the plug sockets. Great location and hosts were very welcoming and available if we had any queries or problems. I would definitely recommend this property and we hope to stay there again.

“We have had another fantastic holiday at estuary view in Newquay.”

Great location for newquay, fistral beach crantock and the gannel all within 15 min walks in a quiet neighbourhood. The house is immaculate throughout lovely big bedroom looking onto the gannel, open plan living room and kitchen with doors opening onto a fantastic multi tiered garden. We brought our big dog Monty and he absolutely loved the garden with its sunny and shady spots for him to sleep. Rattan garden furniture, swing seat and table and chairs near a lovely big bbq it had everything we wanted. Sam and Amy are very friendly and communicate really well, even giving us some great advice when we needed a vet. Thankyou for an amazing time at your lovely house we can't wait to visit again next year

“This is our 3rd visit to Estuary View, which I think says it all.”

The property is always exceptionally clean and well equipped. There is a very thoughtful welcome box and detailed information pack, which always comes in very useful. The property is updated and maintained each year and the smallest of details considered. The location is perfect; a short walk to the beach and town amenities and easy drive to other local attractions. We certainly hope to return for a 4th time :-)

“The house has everything you need for a great holiday.”

The owners sent a useful information pack before our arrival with information on places to eat and things to do. There were tasty treats for us and the dog when we arrived. The house is in a great location and it's a short walk into Newquay town, Fistral beach is about 10 mins and at low tide you can walk along the estuary to Crantock beach which is stunning. The owners contacted us half way through our holiday to check whether we needed anything ( which I thought was a lovely gesture). Our week went far too quickly, we have already booked to come back next year. Thank you Sam and Amy, see you next year.

Iv never stayed in such a comfortable home. Everything you could possibly want and more. The welcome pack and welcome note is just a very lovely touch. The property is in a superb position to walk to Newquay or to walk to Crantock along the Gannel at low tide, a dog walkers heaven. The owners are so helpful before you arrive and the holiday brochure they leave is just so useful it has everything you will need to make your holiday stress free, from all the instructions on how to use all the kitchen appliances to places to eat and drink, to emergency vets. And if there,s still something you need to know then the owner,s phone number is there for you. “This house is absolutely beauuuutiful.”

Everything you need in the house plus more. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and feels so homely. Close to Newquay Town, the harbour and 10min walk to fistral beach. The children and our springer Ivy have enjoyed 7 days on all the local beaches, including Crantock which literally is a jewel in the Crown. We,v had a fabulous week at Estuary View and have already booked for next year. Sam and Amy email an amazing brochure with everything you need to make you stay hassle free and are so easily contactable. “This is an exceptional holiday home with very generous owners who are helpful and approachable without being intrusive.”

It is in a very convenient place for town, beaches and lovely walks. The garden is lovely and completely enclosed so very dog friendly. Kitchen is well equipped and everything works. I have never stayed in a holiday home with so many teaspoons. (little things matter!) Also a huge, comfortable bed. We loved it!

“The only word to describe this property and location is PERFECT.”

“A perfect house, the kitchen was well equipped, the welcome pack was brilliant the owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.”

Our dogs loved the garden it is totally enclosed which for small dogs like ours was perfect. The bedrooms are very luxurious and very spacious. The house is in a great location for a short walk to the beach and very close to shops and Newquay town centre. We will be coming to stay again very soon.

“We've had a wonderful stay here.”

The house is immaculate and situated in a quiet area perfect for access to the estuary, beaches and town. All walking distance (but quite hilly). The views out the back are lovely over the estuary. Amy and Sam have thought about absolutely everything, the house is fully equipped and extremely clean. They even left a lovely Cornish hamper for us with pressies for our dog which she loved!. The additional outdoor dog washing area is a real bonus for sandy pooches. We went in October so the weather was a bit unpredictable so couldn't use the garden but it would be lovely in nice weather. It's very secure and a nice size for dogs. Driveway parking for 2 cars. They were contactable throughout our stay. Would highly recommend this place. Best accommodation we have stayed in in a very long time.

“We had a truly wonderful week at lovely Estuary View.”

The owners Sam and Amy were perfect hosts, extremely warm and welcoming, great communication and everything has been so carefully thought of and provided to ensure guests have a comfortable, relaxing stay. We have stayed in Newquay countless times but if like us you enjoy having everything close by to enjoy but like coming home to enjoy peace, quiet and relaxation then Estuary View is located perfectly for this. Estuary View is located in a very quiet and peaceful location which made our time here ever more enjoyable. We enjoyed the sound of bird song in the wonderful garden and Maximus our Maltese Terrier thought he was in heaven having such a wonderful garden to enjoy. The house itself was immaculate, kept spotlessly clean and I’m more than a little over fussy, everything you could want was provided for and the added touch upon arrival of a hamper of goodies was a touching and kind thought and very much appreciated. We rarely ever consider returning to the same place twice but most certainly will be repeat guests at Estuary View. Thank you Sam and Amy for special memories made to cherish all made evermore special by home owners that have put so much thought, care and effort into ensuring their guests have a home away from home stay.

“What a lovely place to stay!”

We drove into the centre of Newquay a few times and it was literally a 5 minute journey. The house itself was perfect with everything provided to make it a comfortable stay. All furniture was super comfy and the kitchen kitted out well. The garden is as good as it looks on the pictures! Highly recommend to anyone and definitely a dog friendly place to stay. We took our two pugs and they loved it. Thanks to the owners for checking in on us and happy to answer any questions we had.

“This is a fabulous, comfortable and tastefully decorated house, in a great location.”

It’s a few minutes walk to the Gannel where you can cross at low tide and walk to Crantock, a stunning uncrowded beach. In the other direction world famous Fistral is only a 10 minute walk via the step access on the southern end so you can walk straight there in a wet suit. The house has ample parking - a rarity in Newquay - a stunning landscaped rear garden and all you need for nights in or out with so many heavy restaurants. The owners are very friendly and provide a useful pdf and hard card copy information book. In fact it was their home, so you can tell it’s been taken care of to a better standard than most holiday lets. Beds are comfy. Modern heating and shower control. We’d use again without hesitation.

Amazing location and home if you have a dog like us...even a doggie spa available for after those beach walks. It was comfortable and easy to live in. Good location and plenty big enough for us for a week. Would have liked a few more bath towels, the front door was a bit difficult to lock sometimes and a new tin opener is needed! Dog spa was lovely, and the welcome gifts were a lovely touch on arrival. “We have enjoyed our stay thoroughly.”

We have come as a party of five +a dog. The place was more than spacious enough for us. The pup has bowls and blankets left for her. On the arrival we were welcomed with a lovely hamper of Cornish goodies and treats for the pup and very thoughtful bottle of chilled water, appreciated after a gruelling drive across the country. Property brilliantly situated on river Gannel which is most fantastic for walks and paddle boarding in high tide. Short walk to some lovely beaches as well as town centre, which is cozy and very nice, some nice places to eat, our favourite with a nice vegan menu was Lost Brewing Co. Cafe &craft beer bar. The places we went out to dine were all dog friendly. The owners very welcoming, helpful very friendly. All In all great location, great home, great ‘landlords’.

The location of the property provided easy access to the beach and amenities, and an ideal location to explore the local area. The weather helped of course but the house was amazing. Super clean , fantastically comfy beds and every detail clearly had the owners hearts involved. Brilliantly communicative owners. The garden was absolutely amazing. It was the best ‘room’ in the house. The welcome pack was so lovely … they’d taken the time to ask about our dietary needs and left a premium basket of vegan treats including 4 Cornish pasties…. Plus a some treats for the pooch…… These are the sorts of things that show the owners as genuinely caring rather than just being in it for the money. Can’t wait to return.

The house is beautifully decorated and the garden is amazing! The information guide includes everything you would need to know from local attractions to recommended take aways and the gift basket was such a lovely touch. The location is perfect, it's far enough out of town in a quieter location but only a short 10 / 15 minute walk to town. Communication with Sam and Amy was brilliant. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Newquay then look no further, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else if visiting again. Thank you again both for a brilliant stay!

“The house was beautifully clean and was decorated and fitted out just as you’d imagine a house by the coast would be, with lovely little touches.”

It was perfect for a family of four and our small dog, there were even blankets and food bowls for the dog and a welcome basket of goodies that was really sweet and thoughtful. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well fitted out for the few meals that we prepared there. The sitting room was also very cosy and comfortable. The garden is beautiful but the weather in October isn’t conducive to lazing about outside in the evenings sadly. I would imagine it will be amazing in the summer. The house is a perfect distance to explore Newquay and the bays nearby are within walking distance. Would thoroughly recommend.

The house has recently been renovated and it’s obvious how much thought and effort has gone into it. The space is great and very well equipped with everything we needed and more. The garden and views are beautiful and it was so easy to walk down to the estuary which offers lovely walks at low tide. It was also really easy to walk to the beach and into Newquay town. We would definitely book again to stay!

“Kitchen utensils had worn out non stick pans which I wouldn’t even use at home as it is not safe.”

It was clear they just left some old pans in this holiday cottage. Also a roll of kitchen tissue would have been good to have rather than us then going out to buy. Location was excellent and garden was beautiful, but living room is much smaller than what seemed in the listing pictures. Dining table was also a very cheap quality and uncomfortable one. Overall felt overpriced for the price we paid.

“We had a wonderful time at Estuary View!”

The house was beautiful. It was so clean when we arrived and was exactly as presented by Skye Cottages. It was incredibly well stocked with a kitchen full of all the utensils needed to create meals during the week. The garden is absolutely beautiful and is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the summer evenings. The house is full of little touches that bring a smile to your face, from messages on the garden steps to beautiful photographs of the surrounding area and surf memorabilia on the walls. The location is perfect! Just a 15 minute walk from the awesome Fistral Beach, a must visit for surfers! The house also has a view of the Estuary and you can walk down there to take in the views and splash around! The owners, Sam and Amy, are clearly hands on. They email and message before your visit and are very responsive should you have any queries whilst you are in their property. They clearly value those who holiday in their home and aim to make the experience is seamless as possible. They have also put a lot of work into making their home unique, comfortable, and in keeping with local traditions making for an exceptional holiday base that inspires you to soak up the beach life. I cannot thank Sam, Amy, and Skye Cottages enough for providing such a wonderful base for our holiday and cannot wait to visit again next year.
