    “Had a lovely stay at Atlantic Sunset , property lovely and spacious and clean , nice comfortable beds , great enclosed garden for the dog ,very quiet area ,shops nearby for any necessities and few food takeout options nearby.”

    Beach 5 minutes drive away or 15 minutes walk if you’re fine with uphill , Newquay town 10 minutes drive away, would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The property

Resting in the small seaside village of Porth, just a stone's throw away from the popular resort of Newquay, is this three bedroom dormer bungalow, Atlantic Sunset.

Sleeping up to six guests and boasting views of the Atlantic Ocean, Atlantic Sunset is a contemporary setting for your next trip to this lovely part of Cornwall, within each reach of Truro and St Austell.

As you enter the inviting bungalow, there is a sitting room with large window and an impressive 65 inch smart television, so guests can relax and rejuvenate as they keep up with their favourite shows.

To the rear of the property is a spacious and contemporary open-plan space which boasts a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare a shoreside picnic or rustle up an evening meal for all guests to enjoy round the wooden dining table as you toast to a wonderful holiday, alternatively enjoy the second sitting room which has patio doors out to the garden and another television for when you can't all agree on a movie to watch.

Flowing through there is a handy utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer which is the perfect place to leave sandy shoes.

Off the Utility room is a shower room, with a quirky blue mirror, which is a great place to wash any sandy feet.

To complete the ground-floor there is a lovely king-size bedroom which is bright and airy with light colours and big windows, and also has a huge amount of wardrobe space.

Climbing upstairs there is two sweet twin rooms, one with a splash of red, one with a splash of blue and both with a cheerful coastal picture, sloped eaves and skylight windows make it a great escape to at the end of a long day, as you embrace your surrounding views.

To finish the property at first floor level is the is the master bathroom where guests can freshen up for their day ahead with a quick shower or soak in the bath, and maybe even add some bubbles!

Outside there is a rear multi-level garden with a raised lawn, great for children to play, as you sit back on the patio and indulge in a bottle of wine as the sun goes down, there is also a driveway where you can park two cars and a front lawn where you can enjoy your morning coffee in the fresh sea air.

The village of Porth is a great seaside spot for your next adventure to the Cornish coast, as it has great access to the scenic South West Coast Path and also boasts a selection of amenities such as shops, pubs and eateries, and of course the beautiful sandy beaches with the surf training school at Lusty Glaze Beach and the picturesque Trevelgue Head just off Porth beach.

Take a short walk into Newquay, which is a popular spot with plenty of beaches with watersports, the surf school at Fristal Beach, pubs, restaurants, the exotic animal zoo, cinema, golf club and the Blue Reef Aquarium. Just a short drive into the fishing village of Padstow where there is a gorgeous harbour, museums and art galleries, the National Lobster Hatchery, and plenty of bars and eateries.

Also within driving distance is the Bodmin Moor which makes for adventurous walking trails, the thriving cathedral city of Truro, the harbour town of Falmouth with the Pendennis Castle, the lively town of St Austell and the world-famous Eden Project.

Newquay is the home of the UK’s surf scene, boasting eleven beaches and over seven miles of golden sand, three major beaches, the National Surf Centre and an endless supply of rolling surf, making it a beachlovers and watersports paradise. The town, with its zoo, sea life centre and varied selection of restaurants and pubs, also promises a holiday to remember. For avid walkers, the South West Coast Path passes in both directions along a stunning coastline of high cliffs, hidden coves and yet more beaches.
