The property

New for 2025, The Stables is a spacious and luxurious holiday retreat situated near the coast in St Just, Cornwall, combining the refurbished 1862 stables with a breathtaking architect-designed modern extension.

This property boasts a courtyard barbecue, EV charging, and open-plan living – with designated, off-road parking for one car, The Stables is the idyllic getaway for couples seeking a tranquil retreat and up to two dutiful dogs, providing a perfect walking base and for business people seeking an amazing bolt-hole to work from home (dedicated TalkTalk WiFi 65).

The open-plan living space welcomes you to relax amongst exposed granite walls, high ceilings, and skylights.

Glide across oak floors to settle on the sofa and into a story on the Smart TV.

Prepare a delicious supper from local ingredients with the help of an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer, then dine at the intimate table for two.

When the sun follows you home, enjoy a home-cooked barbecue with the setting sun in the enclosed rear courtyard.

Rinse off the day in a shower room whilst the dishwasher and washing machine take care of your plates and laundry, then fall into a king-size bed waiting to catch you.

The Stables is located in the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site and the West Penwith Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, meaning there is plenty to explore on your visit.

About the location

ST JUST

Penzance 7.2 miles; St Ives 12.9 miles.

St Just is the nearest town to Land’s End and is situated approximately eight miles west of Penzance. The town itself is an ancient settlement that has a strong mining history and there are several monuments and prehistoric antiquities to visit including the Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. St Just is ideally located for visitors to explore the far west of Cornwall as it is situated on the edge of the moors and close to the beautiful north coast. In the centre of the town is Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre used for miracle plays in medieval times, and in more recent times for the Lafrowda Festival.
