Located conveniently close to the villages of St. Minver, Rock and Polzeath, The Snug is a charming terraced cottage housed inside a Grade II listed barn conversion; perfect for couples seeking a romantic retreat for two or a cozy space for a small group of friends or family.

The attractive, renovated cottage offers all the convenient amenities for a quiet getaway including off-road parking with boat parking, a well-equipped kitchen, a garden and is located in the beautiful countryside just a short drive from well-known Cornish beaches.

The open-plan living area on the ground floor has been beautifully decorated with artful interior touches to provide style and sophistication while instantly making you feel at home.

In fine weather, you can throw open the patio doors to let the fresh air in and be able to step straight out into your garden.

This works perfectly if you have a little one or dog too, so they can potter out onto the grass!

When peckish, you can make the most of the modern, integrated appliances and use the delectable local produce to cook up a feast and toast to your getaway at the table.

When replete, unwind in front of the Smart TV in the sitting area and have the home comfort of being able to log in to your own Netflix account for an evening of boxsets.

Upstairs, head to the shower room to wash off the day before stepping across to the calming, tastefully decorated bedroom.

With plenty of built in storage, you can pack all your travel clothes away and switch off, relaxing in the king-size bed and recharge, ready for your adventures the next day.

Families with a baby can pack lighter than usual by hiring nursery equipment from a local company and make precious memories on holiday together, there is space in the main bedroom for a cot.

In the mornings, why not plan another exciting day with your loved one while enjoying breakfast outside?

Your lawn area is perfect for sitting back and capturing the rays as it enjoys the sunshine for most of the day when skies are blue.

It also escapes much of the fresh breeze as it is sunken down from path, making it more sheltered. When exploring the area, you'll only have to drive a short way to access the surfing waves of Polzeath beach.

Grab your wetsuit, hire a board and paddle out into the water together.

If you prefer your feet on dry land, trek north out from the beach to spot rare birds at Pentire Point and the Rumps or to the south you will find the coastal path looping round via Greenaway to the dog-friendly Daymer Bay beach.

Here, you can climb Brea Hill for the best views of the estuary, paddle the gentle shores or for the adventurous, windsurf.

The local seaside village of Rock offers the sands of Rock Beach, the chance to learn about regional artists at the Rock Road Gallery, and the glorious temptation to enjoy a hearty meal at The Mariners Public House.

For those with a historical interest, continue travelling along the coast via the Doc-Martin-famed village of Port Isaac to Tintagel, where you can learn about local King Arthur stories at Tintagel Castle.

Cycling enthusiasts can hop on the foot ferry to Padstow and hire a bike to join the Camel Trail which follows the old railway along the estuary and features some beautiful scenery.

After an exhilarating day, why not have a night off the kitchen and pick up fish and chips from Rock to take back to your Cornish home.

Rock 2.2 miles; Polzeath 2.3 miles; Port Isaac 5.5 miles

Perched along the scenic Cornish Coast is the delightful and quaint civil parish of St Minver. Offering its visitors a beautiful church which boasts superb views of the surrounding countryside, a welcoming pub where you can treat yourself to a delicious pub lunch and a well-deserved pint, a Post Office and a well-stocked convenience store for purchasing any essentials. St Minver is the perfect tourist base for exploring Cornwall, with easy access to the stunning beaches of Rock and the surfer's paradise of Polzaeath. Venture over to the coastal village of Rock, where you can take to the waters by waterski or sailing, or enjoy a boat tour as you spot the local marine life of dolphins which frequent the shores. Polzeath is the ideal setting for trying your hand at surfing with its nearby Surf School, or if you'd prefer to sit the action out, the glorious sands are perfect for soaking up the sun with a good book.

The lawn garden is accessible through patio doors out from the main living area, however can also be found down a set of steep steps at the back of the property which doesn't have a handrail or a gate at the top, for information.
