“The holiday cottage was excellent, clean and spacious.”
Very comfortable for a family of 4 - our kids at the time of our visit were 2 years old and 8 months old. The playroom and little playground were excellent additions to the property. The cottage itself is bright and very thoughtfully decorated with everything necessary for a lovely stay. We could have easily stayed another week or more even! It was amazing.

Victoria “My family and I spent a wonderful week at Valley View.”
I can honestly say that this is the nicest place we have ever stayed in. We have two children aged 4 and 2 and the facilities for them were fantastic. The play area outside was ideal for them to enjoy themselves and for us to be able to relax and watch them play. Then an added bonus was the playroom which again the children loved.. So much so they didn't want to see anywhere else in Cornwall!! The cottage is lovely and central for visiting the wide variety of locations nearby. It was immaculately presented and the welcome gifts left for us were much appreciated. The owners were very helpful in giving up information on the best places to visit especially with the children. We will definitely be returning and hopefully very soon. Thank you!

Never stayed anywhere so well equipped. If you want peace and tranquility this is the place. Looking around outside it certainly looks as if Sarah has thought of everything, children's play area outside and a playroom. Roads a bit hairy, that's Cornwall.

There are many walks close from the cottage and so many places to visit by car within a short journey. The cottage is equipped to a very high standard with everything we needed for our stay. Rachael “As a family of 4 with 2 young children wanting to explore Cornwall’s south cost this property it’s location and it’s host were amazing.”
The property is rural and a lovely escape from busy days sight seeing. The property is large clean and well equipped with a beautiful communal garden and games room that felt like it was just ours. The host was friendly accommodating and really helpful, we couldn’t recommend more. We will definitely be back one day thanks to Sarah for all her hard work it definitely shows.

R “Valley View is just LOVELY for a family!”
Being able to sit outside with a beer, taking in the view whilst the kids play in the play area was just perfect. The cottage itself was very clean and well equipped. The play barn a welcome distraction. The outside space a god send. Sarah the owner was so accommodating letting the kids help with the feeding and egg collecting. She was also more than happy to provide us with local recommendations.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided, along with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. We loved spending time in the playhouse playing table tennis and darts, and football on the field. Lots of toys provided for all ages. The local walks are well worth a trek followed by a pasty from Gear Farm. Sarah is a lovely host. Highly recommend a stay in Valley View.

A great base for exploring the lizard but away from the hustle of the more touristy areas. We had a really good time and didn't want to leave, would definitely stay here again.

John “The property was lovely, it matched what was described, and the location was excellent - a quiet, beautiful setting on a farm in the countryside.”
Owners were very welcoming, and along with arrival treats, gifted us eggs from the chickens on the farm. There was a field directly in front of the property with ample space for teenagers to play football. Lots of beaches within easy travel distance on the Lizard peninsula. Supermarkets available not far in Helston, and not too far to travel to larger tourist towns - Falmouth in particular.

Everything we needed.my daughter especially liked the toiletries in the bathroom and the big fluffy blanket in the twin room. The kids loved the little games area room and the play equipment. They also loved saying hello to the. Cows everytime we left or came back from a day out. The views are stunning on an evening. It's so peaceful and quiet. Was amazing to have a dishwasher and washing machine especially with the kids. Sarah was so lovley, the little welcome pack on arrival was very well recieved, and the flowers were beautiful. Just perfect. ❤️

It felt like home from home as there was everything you would need. Beautiful location with lovely walks on your doorstep. Sarah was the perfect host, the boys loved feeding the chickens and ducks and collecting eggs which were delicious. Lots for children to do, swings, slide, well stocked playroom, lovely open space for children to play football. We didn't want to come home and look forward to our next stay! The kids had such a lovely time, my husband and myself had the relaxing time we wanted. It was so nice getting some fresh country air away from the city. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, they let our girls help feed the chickens and collect some eggs, which we had for breakfast- delicious! We were given a lovely welcome food package on arrival which was a pleasant surprise. We will definitely be back if they would have us.
