This spacious, open-plan property is ideal for a family of four or a couple wanting to enjoy peaceful relaxation in the Cornish countryside, while also being in close proximity of the south coast.

There is ample off-road parking for up to four cars, and as you enter the property through the large folding doors, which allow in plenty of natural light, you'll be met with the open-plan living/kitchen/dining area.

With folding doors, high ceilings, exposed wooden flooring, traditional wooden beams and white walls, this space feels vast, bright and airy and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy time with your family while indoors.

There are two leather sofas to sink into, as well as a TV you can channel hop through, while the kitchen area has ample equipment to cook up delicious meals and even has a washing machine, should you have any beachwear you need to clean, while the lovely wooden dining table has four chairs and is a great space to gather and enjoy meals together while you chat about your favourite holiday memories or raise a glass to the days to come.

There are two spacious bedrooms, a double and a twin, both with lots of storage space in the form of wardrobes and chest of drawers, grand floor-length mirrors and exposed wooden flooring, continuing with the light, bright feel of the living area, the double bedroom also has a wall mounted TV.

The bathroom has a stylish and contemporary decor, with grey tiled walls and smart wooden flooring, with a huge walk in shower to kick start your day the right way.

Outside is a huge gravelled area with plenty of space for the little ones or any four-legged companions to stretch their legs and get some sunshine, while the outdoor seating and table mean you can enjoy a morning coffee or an alfresco meal in the fresh air.

Sticker is a quite village, but does have a post office/shop for your essentials, as well as an award-wining pub.

Further afield, St Austell plays host to a wealth of attractions, like The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Shipwreck Treasure Museum and one of the UK's most popular tourist attractions, Eden Project.

Head to Cornwall's south coast, where you'll be spoilt for choice by glorious sandy beaches, including Pentewan, Porthpean and Par Sands.

The fishing port of Megavissey is just four miles away, where you can enjoy a scenic stroll along the harbour wall or spend time wandering around its museum or aquarium.

The Roseland Heritage Coast and nature reserve can be reached by car and is 25 minutes from the cottage, offering a host of walking routes and stunning, sweeping views of the coast.

The Cart House is a charming property in an idyllic location for exploring Cornwall's south coast.
