    “The Dynar is beautifully done.”

I loved it. The beds were so comfy and everything was spotless. A real bonus to have double beds and not twins. It was such a pleasure to stay in. I loved it.

The property

This well-presented, first-floor apartment rests in the town centre of Helston, a bustling town serving as a gateway to the Lizard Peninsula.

This former bank is the ideal base for couples, a small family, or even a single traveller and their four-legged friends to explore this picturesque area.

Its name, The Dynar (Cornish for coin), honours its legacy and the property includes luxury extra touches like slippers and toiletries.

Ascend the stairs to the apartment, where a welcoming kitchen/living room provides everything you need for a stress-free, self-catering stay, including a convenient washer/dryer.

Cook dinner for your significant other before cuddling up with a movie on the Smart TV.

Get some sleep in one of the two bedrooms, each equipped with a Smart TV and an inviting double bed, ideal for lazy mornings.

With a warm towel from the heated towel rail, get ready for the day after waking up with a shower in the shower room.

The town of Helston has everything you need for staying in or going out, so step outside onto the nearby high street where you will find a fantastic selection of stores, pubs, and restaurants to choose from when you don't feel like cooking!

Visit the Museum of Cornish Life in the town to learn more about the local history.

There are many beaches and coves to explore nearby, including Porthleven Beach, Low Bar, and Nichols Cove.

A few quaint restaurants may be found in Porthleven, along with Porthleven Harbour, a historic harbour renowned for its gorgeous vistas.

A little farther away, the lovely town of Falmouth offers a day loaded with culture; visit the Penryn Museum or perhaps travel to the Castle View Beach for views of Pendennis Castle; from there, you can continue for some of the best estuary views in the region.

Any time of year, The Dynar is an excellent starting point and romantic getaway for a break in Cornwall.
