“The farm track is not suitable for a sports car so there should be advanced notice of such a difficult access.”

The barn itself was great albeit the lounge not overly comfortable. Great bathroom.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear you found it difficult to access the property in your Audi TT. As you can appreciate there is always going to be a trade off with staying somewhere rural and relatively remote. As the name would suggest we are surrounded by farm land, The almost half mile track is in fact owned not by ourselves but by the neighbouring farm who uses it daily with tractors and machinery. However we do endeavour to maintain it to the best standard we can as we require access with normal road going cars daily and during the summer months I drive my Lotus type 116 sports car up and down it, albeit gingerly but it is possible to do. The one thing however we do have complete control of is the holiday lets and we pride ourselves with the quality and finish of them which we feel is reflected in our reviews of past customers. You mention that you found the lounge uncomfortable, please could you expand on this as we would like to rectify any problems there may be? As you can understand we are rather confused as you have left such a positive review in our guest book none of the issues were mentioned? We look forward to hearing from you. Property Owner

About the location

ST IVES

Penzance 6 miles.

One of Cornwall's prettiest harbour towns, St Ives offers narrow streets, tight-packed cottages nestling around the quayside, the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum, fabulous beaches, superb shops, a thriving community of artists, great pubs and restaurants and much more. With its semi Bohemian lifestyle and romantic air, it's easy to see why this is the county's premier holiday resort. The surrounding area has much for the visitor to see and do with abundant wildlife, fabulous coastal walks, top quality surfing and the Celtic mysteries of the Land's End Peninsula are all within easy reach. A superb destination!
