“My wife and I had a great time at this lovely cottage.”
We have stayed in quite a few different cottages in the past, and this one must rank as one of the best equipped we have come across, especially the kitchen. The cottage was also extremely clean and well presented. The only downside was we found the dining chairs too uncomfortable to use, but maybe that's just us. The welcome pack was a really nice touch from Tanya, who could not have been more helpful. Thanks once again for a lovely stay. Best wishes, Geoff and Jan.

A delightfully peaceful country town, nestling in the Fowey river valley amid the woods and fields that characterise the area. Renowned as a centre for the antiques trade, there are several shops and dealers in the town, as well as a fine collection of country pubs, restaurants and a thriving farmer’s market. Lanhydrock House (NT) and gardens is just 3 miles away, while the fabulous Boconnoc House, Eden Project, shipwreck museum and tall ships harbour at Charlestown, and the picturesque fishing villages of Mevagissey, Fowey and Padstow, with the famous Rick Stein restaurants, are all within easy driving distance. The tumbling Atlantic surf, long sandy beaches and dramatic coastline of the north coast, including at the renowned Newquay, make for great days out and there is also chance to enjoy river canoeing, biking, hiking and leisurely walks in this lovely area.
