    “I feel that there are 2 bits of important information missing from the description that would help people make an informed decision on making their choice to stay or not.”

    One of which meant we had to cut our holiday short and that is there are sheep in the paddock. Luckily we don't have dogs that bark but it did mean they had to stay in as they were getting stressed and trying to jump the fence. The second thing missing is there are 2 steps to the bathroom luckily the disabled member of our party managed to get up and down with some help but it could have been a lot worst for somebody. These things may be down to Sykes and the way they lay things out but they ...

    Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. Apart from the enclosed garden, there is an adjacent field, it is mentioned in the welcome book and on the fence, that if using the paddock, dogs should be kept on the lead when livestock is present. We have now added to our description that there are a couple of steps down from the bedroom to the bathroom. Property Owner

Upon arrival you are met by off-road parking in a secure area, providing superb views out to sea.

Wander over to the chalet and step inside, offering an open-plan layout with a well-appointed kitchen, where you can conjure up something delicious after a day of exploring.

Enjoy a leisurely feast at the dining table before lounging on the settee and catching up on your favourite shows from the Smart TV.

Head outside and catch the last of the evening sun from the furniture, or take a dip in the wood fired hot tub and soak up those glorious vistas.

There's also a barbecue for when you fancy a grilled feast, plus an outdoor shed with washing machine allowing you to keep on top of your laundry.

Find the bedrooms to lay your rest, including a double with en-suite shower and a twin, each presented with hanging space.

Head out to the enclosed paddock to allow your canine companion stretch their legs or continue to the coastal path for a leisurely stroll; nearby lies Chevron Fold where you can see the magnificent rock formations and stunning views overlooking Millook and Widemouth Bay.

Within two miles is Widemouth Bay, where you can spend summer days lounging on the wide expanse of sand and paddling in the shores, before sampling the menu and specials board at Widemouth Manor, proudly sitting overlooking the dramatic coastline.

Take a new water sport at the surf school or choose a selection of boats for hire if you wish to go at your own pace.

Further north lies Bude, home to the glorious Summerleaze Beach, boasting a sheltered sea pool, beach huts and further watersport opportunities, plus there is the 19th Castle Bude for those interested in history.

WIDEMOUTH BAY

Bude 3 miles; Tintagel 16.6 miles

On the outskirts of Bude, this small coastal hamlet looks out over one of the area’s top surfing beaches. Famous for its rugged coastline, tumbling surf and excellent walking, it’s the place to relax and unwind. Lively Bude, with its town, beaches, clubs, pubs and resort attractions is 3 miles away, while to the north the Coast Path winds its way over the cliff tops toward the lonely lighthouse at Hartland Point, and on to the beautiful cliff side village of Clovelly. Take the main ‘Atlantic Highway’ north from Bude and you’ll also pass the Big Sheep and Milky Way theme parks, both great days out. If you love the countryside but don’t want to be too far from the holiday action, this is the place to stay.

Paddock is available for dogs to use, and all dogs should be kept on the lead if livestock is present.
