The property

Set in the heart of the Cornish countryside, this lovely semi-detached cottage is spaced across two floors.

Boasting a spacious open-plan living area, with a cosy woodburning stove, perfect for keeping you warm in the chilly winter months.

The dining area is a wonderful social space with seating for six people.

With an attractive duck egg blue dresser housing various appliances such as glasses, white mugs and a tea pot.

Step into the kitchen, with its wooden furnishings and granite worktops, as well as the contemporary appliances to suit all your needs.

The ground floor also displays a selection of colourful artwork, which gives the rooms a wealth of character.

With steps leading down to the lower ground floor, there are three bedrooms; one super - king, one twin and one double with an en-suite shower room.

The bedrooms have a range of furniture for ample storage space and soft beds to give ultimate comfort during your stay.

There is a separate family bathroom has modern fixtures and fittings and is home to a bath and shower over.

The perfect spot for a calming and relaxing soak in the tub after a long day sightseeing.

A wildlife camera has been fitted to the owl box and connected to the Smart TV inside, providing precious live footage for wildlife enthusiasts.

East Looe Beach is a wonderful spot for the whole family to visit, with its sandy beaches, crystal blue water and is well known for its Banjo Pier, with excellent walking opportunities.

Kids can run wild along the shore, and build sandcastles.

Lily Cottage is the perfect resort for a family holiday.

Cardwen Farm

Set in the grounds of Cardwen Farm, in Pelynt near Looe, Cornwall, this group of cottages have undergone an extensive renovation and now provide high-quality, contemporary accommodation. Internally, the huge vaulted ceilings create spacious rooms, while the heating system ensures that your stay is as warm and comfortable as possible. The main living areas are open-plan and refreshing, providing comfortable sitting areas, social dining spaces and well-equipped kitchens hosting a range of high-quality amenities to set you up perfectly for your break. All are beautifully decorated throughout, featuring exposed beams, giving the properties a wealth of character. With a total of 12 bedrooms, these cottages are ideal for couples or families to enjoy and the sleek bathrooms provide peaceful spaces to top off the superb interior wonderfully. All cottages have access to the shared landscaped gardens, with extensive lawned areas and ample seating. There are rockpools and surrounding beaches with remnants of shipwrecks, tales of smugglers and the picturesque fishing village of Polperro.

Looe is Cornwall’s second largest fishing port and hence there is always a lively maritime bustle around the quay area of East Looe, which is connected to the quieter West Looe by a seven arched 19th century bridge over the River Looe. You can also catch the river taxi between East and West Looe. East Looe has narrow cobbled streets, twisting alleyways and plenty of tourist shops, whilst West Looe has a lovely outlook across the harbour. Looe’s viewpoint, Banjo Pier, can be reached from the quay and is a great spot to watch the returning fishing trawlers and look across the bay to Looe Island, which can be walked to occasionally at very low tides. The sandy Looe beach adjoins the pier and is very popular with families because of its safe shallow swimming and vast expanse of sand. There is also a great rock pool area at Hannafore that children will love. West Looe has a Heritage Centre that recently opened in the Old Sardine Factory with a climbing wall and a cafe and the delightful Kilminorth Woods have way marked walks through the majestic oak wood, rich in plant, insect and bird life. Apart from beach activities in this part of south east Cornwall, there are many mining remains on Bodmin Moor and in the Tamar Valley and much of the mining landscape has World Heritage status. This area of Cornwall has inspired writers, such as Daphne du Maurier and much of Bodmin Moor has inspired legends linked with King Arthur. There is much to explore in this beautiful part of Cornwall.
