“The cottage slept 8 but didn't seat 8.”

Table had 8 chair but you couldn't all sit round it as no elbow room at all. One sofa very uncomfortable but again the together would be hard pressed to seat 8. Was fairly clean but kept walking through cobwebs .The welcome book was handy but could have done with some information on walks in the area. Owner was very helpful with arrival information, etc. Evan texted us ro let us know the cottage was ready early. On the plus side the cottage was well equipped and the views were amazing

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. It's a shame you didn't contact me during your stay, as you know your information message states: "If you have any lodge specific issues or questions, please feel free to contact me". I would have been happy to attempt to resolve any issues you may have had. With regard to the sofas, every person has a preference. I have tried to cater for all, as best I can. There are two large sofas, both purchased as four-seaters, one is brand new. One sofa is a softer style, the other is firmer. There are 12 scatter cushions provided in the lounge area for added comfort. Dining: over the years, the current table has proved the best option considering occupancy and space but I could have delivered an extended table top to the lodge had you informed me you were experiencing an issue. Cleaning: my housekeeper is always very thorough. As there were no guests in the lodge the previous week, she completed an extra check when she went in to turn the heating on for you. She advised me that she found and cleared one cobweb. I checked the lodge myself on your arrival day so that I could message you to let you know that it was ready and you were welcome to let yourselves in early. I didn’t find any. As we all know, a spider can weave a web overnight and despite this being a country location, in many years of letting, this is the first cobweb comment. Guest Book: My information book is substantial but I will add local walks as suggested. I did advise you that the Reception on site could provide local information. Reception also have leaflets covering local activities and attractions including local walks. Property Owner
