“Had a lovely holiday with every sort of weather possible but it didn’t distract us from going out the owner text us twice to make sure we were all ok especially in the snow, the only suggestion I would like to make is a hand rail up the stairs, the welcome pack was fabulous, hopefully we will visit again as we love this part of Cornwall and surrounding area.”

Thank you, so glad you had a great time despite the weather which got rather interesting at times. So unusual to have proper snow ! Thank you again for booking with us …. Neil Property Owner

About the location

CRACKINGTON HAVEN

Boscastle 6 miles.

Crackington Haven is a charming cove near Boscastle, with a mix of rockpools, a sandy beach and good surf. There are two beach shops and cafes, which are wonderful to relax in and look out over the blue seas of the bay. Walking this section of the South West Coast Path, much of it owned by the National Trust, offers dramatic views, a host of wildflowers and an undulating terrain. Just along the coast is the quaint village of Boscastle, with gift shops, local restaurants and pubs offering good food, Cornish real ales and live entertainment by local musicians, making this an ever-popular visitor destination. The sandy beaches of Bossiney and Trebarwith Strand are within a short drive, as are the surfing beaches at Bude and Polzeath. Close at hand lies Tintagel, swathed in the legend of King Arthur, as well as several stately homes and renowned gardens, or the wide open space of Bodmin Moor, famous for its granite tors and Daphne Du Maurier’s Jamaica Inn.
